I think the possibility of a "Popular Front" 2.0 is pretty dead now 5371 . I used to think something like that was possible too, but that was back when the Socialists were polling clearly in 5th place and looked like they would finish solidly behind Melenchon. For it to happen it would have to be the Socialists being the one to drop out (Melenchon's ego is too big) and now that they've recovered their ground somewhat (last couple polls have Hamon in the 14-16% range and pretty squarely ahead of Melenchon) I don't see the PS throwing the towel in, they've got large egos too.
