Hamon and Valls. Who among these two titans will win the great honor of 5th place loser?

Benoît Hammon also said there was too many white people in Brittany. He's something like the Bernie Sanders of the PS. Or he's lying like Hollande did in his campaign, arguing that France's biggest enemy was Finance, but once in power appointed a Rothschild banker to the Ministry of Economy.

That is going to be the playbook of a lot of European politicians going forward. They know they have to get with the program but since Trump's image in Western Europe is pretty dismal, Fillon can't say stuff like "I agree with Trump" about things like we should step back from the sanctions on Russia or increasing military spending. He has to frame it like "The Americans are abandoning us, we need to spend more on the military" and "we can't let Trump get the jump on us with regards to Russia and exclude us." I expect to see more of it in other European countries.

Merkel is slowly being isolated.

Absolutely spot-on and I said much the same this morning to Broseph about how Trump's win allows a lot of space for European leaders to move around in. This is usually the case in Europe when a GOP POTUS is elected since there is a natural aversion to cooperation between Europe and a GOP admin, but we are now in special circumstances where everything is up for grabs.
