"Zero Tolerance for violence" is so awful. It ends up giving free reign to not the traditional sort of physical bully but something that's maybe even worse, bullies with the skillset of homosexual dilettantes: performative mockery, snide remarks, engaging in social manipulation and orchestrating humiliations, safe in the knowledge that they can't be touched. My childhood would have been so much better if someone had told me that I could just hit the little queers and the little single-mother products that were given letters of marque by this policy.

Of course, it doesn't deter certain groups which we all know simply aren't going to be deterred by a policy, and it does nothing to prevent school shooters. In fact it probably creates more of the latter. But it's understandable that, in their panic, people will try to impose regulations on the petty violence they can control in the incorrect hope that it will prevent the serious violence which they can't control.

As obviously bad as this policy may be for schoolchildren, no modern state could allow adults to settle their disputes with violence except in very limited contexts. If you want to use political violence, you have to think like a lying, cheating, and conniving bully. Be as sadistic as possible, hit people where they are the most vulnerable, in the manner least approximating a fair fight, and do it in the most dishonest fashion possible.

One thing right-wing people have trouble understanding is that there is strength in weakness. Cults and leftists have the mental tools necessary to use these tactics because of their strong feeling of victimhood. Imagine that you believe that you believe that you are a victim, and therefore you can do no wrong, your vengeance is righteous, and you should get back at your oppressors in the most underhanded, mean-spirited, and calculating fashion possible.

I would say this is changing. This is essentially the real power behind White Sharia and the Kekistani thing. I also do not think it is a coinidence that both of those terms are cloaked in muslism-ish sounding terms. They're jokes right now, but they may not always be, and they evolved for a reason.

In any case, I don't think also joining the victim olympics is ultimately the best move, and certainly won't be the final one. The longer real violence is delayed, the worse things will get. And real violence is coming, whether we want it or not. There is simply no avoiding a shooting war in the next 20-25 years, maximum (and likely much sooner).

Isn't it because they're backed up by the federal government and the prison-industrial complex? Anyone who does this is going to be facing prison rape and possible death in prison. The federal government will ensure that any sort of right wing activist who does something like this ends up in a prison system dominated by black and Hispanic gangs. It's not like Norway where you have fairly comfortable digs and can play Playstation all day.

If you're willing to make that sacrifice, you can learn useful skills and meet all sorts of interesting people in prison. If WNs were real revolutionaries like De Sade locked up in the Bastille they would support blanket amnesty for everyone in ADX Florence. America's prison archipelago is a historical phenomenon without precedent.

If the threat of prison is all that is holding the facade of civilization together, then we are closer to war than even I think.
