How in the hell did Macron gain so much ground so quickly? Just two months ago he was nowhere.

Have the French gone insane?

Macron strikes me as a French 2008 Obama. An empty suit with a pretty face who has mastered new-sounding rhetoric of "hope and change", and can plausibly claim (to normies) to be "anti-establishment" but isn't raycis like Le Pen.

Not to nitpick but Obama was ugly even by colored folk standards.

Michelle was a pretty handsome dude though.

In the midst of all the of jowls, bloat, beady eyes, extreme manletry and barely-concealed reptilians of American politics, 2008 Obama qualified as "handsome".

I suppose NEETs are classified under autres inactifs. Potential for growth there.

I think Fillon has weathered the storm. The last two polls show him level with Macron again. As Macron's faggotry becomes better known, with his typically weak, histrionic personality causing him to react in a brittle way to this knowledge, he will fade.

Neoliberalism never really had much traction in France, hopefully as things move ahead people will realize that Macron will bring it to them good and hard, and why would you want that?

Pretty impressive to see Macron's hypothetical lead vs. Le Pen shrink at any rate.

My main problem with FN is that they spend all this effort to contest the Presidency. Why not focus more on gaining seats in Parliament? If 2 is the best they can get then they're screwed, and if they can get more than that they should focus on it.

It's the same problem (thankfully) the (American) Libertarian Party has.
