Hello everyone. I discovered this site through twitter and I'm a student from the upper Midwest.

I'm a bit of a Russophile in the sense that I'm learning the language, love Russian literature/history and have traveled to Russia.

Raised a Lutheran, but I'm very much interested in the history and philosophy of the Catholic and Orthodox churches. My general interests are literature, history, geopolitics, theology, philosophy and travel.
I'm not formally educated in most of these fields so I'm looking forward to learning from many of the users on here.

Was into Nick Land and bought his arguments for the inevitability of machinic death but now believe it's the product of a pretty shallow understanding of psychology + apotheosis of Faustian machine-love. Once took a gender studies class at uni, preached equality of all, destruction of all hierarchy; now love hierarchy, aristocracy, place for all things and all things in their place. Am disgusted by the destruction of beautiful art and the rancid shit pouring from art schools. Think racial and sexual difference is good because difference is interesting and I don't want us all to be homogenous blobs. I don't know if Australia is capable of producing a great civilization, I think it will drink us all into its sleepy dreamtime consciousness. I am fascinated by the descent into barbarism and it holds a kind of lascivious appeal for me that I think would be bad to indulge, but which is so tempting and exciting. I love scary stories and working out, cycling.

British with Slavic heritage, 27, with an extremely zogged professional life. I have to mix socially with fags and strong independent women every day as part of my work.

In to fitness, nutrition and fx trading. This forum seemed like one that would appeal to me based on the people I follow on Twitter.

Who's your boss?

My boss isn't a problem. I have to meet with PR departments of other companies and PR is an industry almost entirely made up of angry "career women" and flamboyant homosexuals.

Canadian of mostly French origins, Catholic. I am interested in almost everything, but mostly music, biology, cinema, litterature, politics and history.

My journey leading here looked something like this: Hjernevask -> Greg Cochran -> VDare -> John Derbyshire -> AmRen -> Radix Journal -> Therightstuff -> Socialmatter -> Twitter -> Salo Forum.

That road took me about a year to travel.

Greetings, everyone. I am of Franco-Spanish stock, but an underdeveloped Spanish-American republic takes the liberty of printing me a passport every so often, and I happen to have been living abroad for the past few years, which is hardly surprising in view of the fact that I was educated under the tutelage of Britons in my country. I am, in essence, the abandoned bastard child of eclipsed empires, but I have not ceased to admire the mother country, which is, I suppose, still ‘mine’, although there are stamps in my passport that suggest otherwise.

My political alignments, although needlessly cluttered and indecisive, could be variously described as intensely patriotic (with an allowance, perhaps, for a form of National Catholicism), protective of hierarchies, corporatist, anti- laïque , and anti-immigration, but readings of Erik von Kuehnelt-Leddihn and a slight disdain for some amongst the popular classes have been known to cause the awakening of my inner anarchist. There is also a constant, pervasive tendency affecting (or, some may say, afflicting ) my postulates: a fervid, violent Hispanophilia. This defence of Spain and her historical circumstances is, I believe, prominent in anything I write; even when I don’t intend on doing so, a ‘refutation of the Black Legend’ makes its way into the lines emanating from my pen.

I cannot track (or remember, even) my progression or ‘journey’ in these circles; I cannot be asked to recall where I started or which website led me to this sector of right-wing because, perhaps due to my upbringing, I have always been at least vaguely right-leaning, but I will say that Twitter led me to the Salò Forum. I have been a lurker for quite a bit; now, I have considered it apt to register, poast , and if possible, contribute.

Let the fun begin.
