MidBestern, agnostic but slowly recovering my Catholic heritage (should I make a thread when I start RCIA?).

Hobbies include outdoorsmanship of all kinds, Twatter weirdos, obesity, alcoholism, and losing my hair. Recently I purchased a gun, because this is America, and I shoot 2-3x a month.

Edit: I am ethnically and culturally Midbestern but geographically located in the southeastern swamps. Sorry for any confusion.

Starting the thread would be a good idea, feel free to PM me: I am a convert from nothingism and stayed out of the Church after being convinced of the Gospel for about 4 1/2 years because descriptions of the RCIA made it sound like a sharing and caring session. I was wrong, but the RCIA can still be a difficult thing to go through; I hope it is better in the Midbest, but I am here if you need moral support.
