Taking a glass-half-full outlook, this could possibly make it easier to identify the one's that are worth investing one's time in, since many of the whorish ones no longer appear to feel a societal pressure to hide their nature.
True, but like I brought up in the Slut Question thread, it's a numbers problem. The demand for non-thots is far outstripping the supply of non-thots. Which itself leads to some form of thotdom as it does in all other subcultures where there are few women; geek shit, punk/hardcore, fitness, ect.
