Watching football yesterday, I was shocked by a commercial sponsored by Quizno's, the giant sandwich chain franchise operation.
It went by very quickly, but in a few seconds I was shown a man who rushed to what was apparently a pig, suckling piglets, and the man joined the piglets in their meal, taking the hind tit.
GROSS!!
I had to watch it a second time to be sure it wasn't a glitch.
CEO is Rick Schaden
I called the executive offices @ 1-720-359-3300 to ask what the message was supposed to be. I got switched from the switchboard to a customer service rep. She said she was unaware of the commercial. When I told her I wanted to complain about it, she took my name address and phone number. Did anyone else watch and wonder about this one?

I didn't see it but I believe it! TV commercials are becoming dumber and dumber by the minute! Who knows what kind of crap they'll think of next?

We are bombarded by advertising like never before. In order to stand out, you have to be more loud, obnoxious, crude, and immoral than the guys sandwiching you on both sides of your 30-seconds of radio fame.

Have you ever noticed how they like to cut from a blonde to a black, and visa versa? Lenscrafter even has a comercial with a black picking-up, carrying, and kissing what appears to be young white woman.
I am sure they justify this stuff be claiming it gets people's attention. Of course, there are a lot of ways to get people's attention: the fact that they use overt and subliminal messages of black/latino males and white girls definetly involves some deeper intentions. This is particularly obvious when one considers that this use of racial imagery, however attention-grabbing, will turn off countless customers.
I am not really sure what the intentions are: to promote interracial sex, or to make white males afraid so we that we promote crude anti-black/Latinos policies. Maybe both?

It's a wolf, not a pig.

I saw one for a pain pill aimed at the young mother market. All the standard ego-stroking you'd expect from such: little kids running amok; harried moms trying to keep up; "You're on your own" voiceover, etc. What turned my stomach was the blonde joyfully bouncing a mulatto brat in her arms - the clear implication that rutting with monkeys is not merely completely acceptable but chic in today's "non-judgmental" society.

The image of a man sucking a pig's teat on television just clicks, doesn't it? Our pop culture has stirred the bottom and I can sense real life matters don't have far to sink, just another black riot; not even another mass killing by minorities of whites like in Wichita, Kansas, and it will all go up. I don't look forward to working with my pleasent, affable nonwhite coworkers after the troubles really begin; our nation will be so threatened because of race on race violence-even our military will be compromised by it- that the next step will be for our government to call in foreign nationals to police the country-the Israeli army most likely, or possibly units of the United Nations peacekeeping forces. It will be hell, and it looks to be soon. When whites fight there will be a lot of open eyes; I picture herds of deer trampling wolves. The Wichita judge's wise demand that no media present the killings by the Carr brothers could'nt keep that story off the internet, another such incident against whites will be the greenlight for racists of all races. America was a good country once.

A story from the Thursday 18 September 2003 edition of the BBC News Online Health section titled "What makes a Psychopath" by Caroline Ryan makes for interesting reading, especially the last couple of sentences: "In Rwanda, around 800,000 people were killed in 100 days. Most people doing the killing were 'normal' before - it was something in their environment that changed."
