Greetings:

I was watching a bit of PBS today and your shameless plea for $4 million to cover debts that arise from unexplained "mistakes made", and then I read your letter at http://www.kcts.org/inside/features/emergency.asp which begs for $2 million immediately.

I watched a bit of the WWII show using color footage, and I have to say that it crystallizes for me both the reasons why I will never again give one penny to PBS and perhaps why so few people do give you money, even leaving aside those who are discouraged by the millions of dollars lost by mysterious "mistakes made".

The WWII show has as its theme the demonization of Germans and White Americans. The constant refrain is about White racism, and how, for example, Japanese were victims for being placed in concentration camps. Naturally, there is complete censorship of the fact that Germans and Italians were also placed in concentration camps in America, an omission necessary because Germans and indeed all Whites remain the subject of daily hatred by PBS. As you should be aware, German-Americans incarcerated in concentration camps in America were treated more harshly that Japanese-Americans.

I am also dismayed by the idealization of Stalin and the Soviet Union. Even as 17 million Germans died in WWII and the massive ethnic cleansing that followed the war (a fact that is never mentioned), the Bolshevisk in Russia and Eastern Europe killed 50-100 million Christians (a fact too unimportant to ever be mentioned on PBS). The enslavement of Eastern Europe, again by the Bolshevis, is something that you remain uninterested in. By the way, the PBS adoption of the Ken Burns model of dummied-down history might not be a very good strategy, since people who think such child-like retelling of history is brilliant may be too stupid to earn enough discretionary income to be able to send you any money.

Generally speaking, I abhor the PBS worship of Israel and idealization of the death squads that slaughter Palestinian children, even as children's shows like Sesame Street emphasize only the dignity of Black and minority children, and show White children only as simpletons. PBS has the moral integrity of Stalinist Pravda and with the racist-arrogance of Ariel Sharon spreads hatred of the American majority daily in every program and with every word and nuance.

As I type this the voice over in the WWII show chants: "Those Nazi bastards! Those Nazi bastards! Those Nazi bastards! I want to kill those Nazi bastards!"

Now what, exactly, in this orgy of hatred, in the incessant chanting of race-hatred of Whites, would lead me to write you a check.

As you shamelessly beg for money to "stay on the air", I can only say that you do not deserve to stay on the air. Your vicious and thuggish programming is an abomination.

Sincerely, a White man with discretionary income,

James Joseh Sanchez, PhD Seattle

I googled "James Joseph Sanchez". He has a PhD in Middle Eastern studies. Here is a letter to the editor of a paper in Seattle:

*We'll be reading about the problem 30 years hence I read with interest the March 15 report, like so many I have read for the past 30 years, about black student discipline and academic problems in Seattle schools.

The solution of Seattle Public Schools Superintendent Joseph Olchefske to mandate "undoing racism" programs, which require confessions of their racist sins by whites before black "anti-racist" controllers, guarantees that we will read about black student discipline and academic problems for the next 30 years.

The predictable outcome of the institutional racism of Olchefske, in imposing the humiliating "undoing racism" program on white employees of the school district, is the fact that it will do nothing for the black students in whose name this inexcusable humiliation is imposed.

But these days, denouncing the imaginary sins of "white privilege" is a higher good in school systems than meeting the needs of black students.

As always, white students just have to fend for themselves.

I see his letters come up on the letters section of VNN regularly. Someone could compose an invitation there.
