Afro-Americans taking up Voodoo!
**"African Religions Attracting African Americans" Voodoo, Santeria and other religions with African roots are drawing followers in the United States among immigrants and black Americans interested in their ancestry, their leaders say. But their practice can result in clashes with neighbors and police over rituals such as animal sacrifices. When voodoo practitioners held a ceremony at midnight, neighbors called police as drumming started.

this doesn't seem to be anything new. in southern Florida there are many Haitian & Creole speaking communities which openly practice voodoo, when I lived in Fort Lauderdale I even entered a 'voodoo store', those running the 'business' didn't speak English too well, and they give you a very dirty look, almost of "disgust", if you're white. but they let you 'pay them' to do (fairly meaningless) rituals such as dressing candles, etc. though this particular store is mostly full of herbs and other small things, some Christian symbols even, since modern voodoo has absorbed alot of Christian beliefs. in certain black neighborhoods there, you can find near-complete pig carcasses in empty lots (at least, I have from personal experience) decomposed & dismembered, one can only guess it's because of those practicing voodoo.

What I find interesting is that animal rights activists will actually defend Voodoo pratices concerning animal sacrifices, trying to claim that Voodoo people kill the animals more humanely than butchers do. What kind of the nonsense is that?

It's because Voodoo practitioners are Black. If they were White, you can bet your ass PETA and their ilk would be all over them.

The morons at PETA want to ban milk because they say it is racist. Apparently a lot of blacks can't digest it so of course milk must be discriminatin' agin them. I wonder if PETA is run by Jews? :taz:

If they think milk is racist, why don't the blacks just make chocholate milk? :lol: After all, we add cream to make our :afro: coffee white now don't we? :lol: :lol:
