This is not some bullsh*t survey. This is a petition drive that is working directly with Icon Productions to pressure Movie Theaters into showing "The Passion."
The ADL has tens of millions to keep it out of theaters. Everyone needs to strike back.
This could be the biggest backlash against the Anti-Defamation League Ever.

And how do we know that? How are we to ensure this is NOT an ADL "gathering of 'sigs'" to identify ever more enemies of the Chosen?

Its very true, Avalanche. I read a long article today ( although I am sorry I did not save link ) that ICON, Gibson's production is meeting HARSH RESISTANCE in getting a mass release of Passion to nationwide theaters. Jews own the outlets to the theaters, and they seriously could stop Gibson from reaching anything but a fringe audience with their control of the top tier network of theater CHAINS. Greed is the only selling point ICON has.. sadly, because the Jews don't want to admit Biblical Fact that they are 100 % responsible for Jesus's death. I always thought that was an accepted FACT of life.. anyway, ICON has a serious problem and the JEWS are trying to say that the reason they won't get a major release is because the movie is in Aramaic and Hebrew and Gibson is grappling with whether to lend subtitles or not. The root problem is that the JEW CHAINS take orders from the ADL and ZOG and are hell bent on blackballing the Passion so that it can not reach a mass audience at all.

ADL Concerned Mel Gibson's 'Passion' Will Fuel Anti-Semitism if Released in Present Form
New York, NY, August 11, 2003 ââ¬Â¦ After having attended a private screening of Mel Gibson's new film, "The Passion," the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) today voiced concerns that the film, if released in its present form, "will fuel hatred, bigotry and anti-Semitism" by reinforcing the notion of collective Jewish guilt for the death of Jesus. An ADL representative was present at a private screening of "The Passion" at the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, Texas.
"The film unambiguously portrays Jewish authorities and the Jewish mob as the ones responsible for the decision to crucify Jesus," said Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director. "We are deeply concerned that the film, if released in its present form, will fuel the hatred, bigotry and anti-Semitism that many responsible churches have worked hard to repudiate."
The version of Gibson's film, as previewed by Rabbi Eugene Korn, ADL Director of Interfaith Affairs, contained a number of troubling themes and images, all raising the specter of "deicide," or Jewish complicity in the death of Jesus.
"Sadly, the film contains many of the dangerous teachings that Christians and Jews have worked for so many years to counter," said Rabbi Korn. "This is not a disagreement between the Jews and Mr. Gibson. Many theologically informed Catholics and Protestants have expressed the same concerns regarding anti-Semitism, and that this film may undermine Christian-Jewish dialogue and could turn back the clock on decades of positive progress in interfaith relations."
"We hope that Mr. Gibson and Icon Productions will consider modifying 'The Passion,' so that the film will be one that is historically accurate, theologically sound and free of any anti-Semitic message," said Mr. Foxman.
ADL's concerns include:
The film portrays Jewish authorities and the Jewish "mob" as forcing the decision to torture and execute Jesus, thus assuming responsibility for the crucifixion. The film relies on sinister medieval stereotypes, portraying Jews as blood-thirsty, sadistic and money-hungry enemies of God who lack compassion and humanity. The film relies on historical errors, chief among them its depiction of the Jewish high priest controlling Pontius Pilate
The film uses an anti-Jewish account of a 19th century mystical anti-Semitic nun, distorts New Testament interpretation by selectively citing passages to weave a narrative that oversimplifies history, and is hostile to Jews and Judaism. The film portrays Jews who adhere to their Jewish faith as enemies of God and the locus of evil.
The Anti-Defamation League, founded in 1913, is the world's leading organization fighting anti-Semitism through programs and services that counteract hatred, prejudice and bigotry.

Translation: "Our bought and paid for pulpit prostitutes like Gary Bauer and Pat Robertson are ready to collect another installment of 30 pieces of silver to mislead their flocks. We are afraid that all the effort we have spent emasculting the Christian religion will be undermind if folks realize that we, as the descendents of the mob are still acting the same way we did 1970 years ago." Oh, yes, this "dialog' consists of them telling these fakirs what to do and say.

Translation: "Mel, there won't be any 'we are concerned' nonsense in your case. You release this movie before we can rewrite the script for our own selfish purposes and we will come after you the same way our ancestors did Him. And there are plenty of modern day Pilates or worse that we'll use."

Relies on "medieval sterotypes?" Hell, they don't have to go back that far. Modern day Jews are more than adequate, like the ones one constantly sees paraded on "Fox News."

Hypocrisy at it finest.
How could I overlook this. Funny how they get mad as hell when someone does unto them what they do to everyone else. I reckon that when you are one of "god's chosen people" that you can do whatever and to anyone you want. Better than a "get out of jail free card!"

Does anyone remember if the ADL was as vociferous in their rantings against the release of "The Last Temptation of Christ" as they are against "The Passion"?? One standard for Them another standard for Goy, I guess.
I praise Mel and Hutton as brave defenders of the Faith. God bless them.

To the most true observations of Sertorius (and others) I would only add that it is conceivable to me that there may be some additional, as yet unknown, reason that, instead of letting it pass, those who are favourably inclined toward censhorship of expression of the Faith create such a fuss.
I am inclined to watch this movie twice, the first time to get a general impression, the second time to catch anything that may not be entirely obvious.
