I used to live in Philadelphia, and I can't really remember Tony Auth's work in the The Philadelphia Inquirer. My hometown paper runs some of his cartoons, and from what I've seen, he appears to be just another complacent 'liberal' who lacks artistic talent. However....on August 31st, Auth's ANTI-SEMITIC, PRO-NAZI, DER STUERMER-INSPIRED HATE 'TOON ran in several papers. :clown:

Imagine the gall of this bastard! Did he actually think that HE had the right to use the Magen David in such a shameful manner?
Predictably, the Inquirer was flooded with letters expressing outrage at this thought crime.

It is bad enough that such incitement to hatred of Jews and Israel appears in the mass media of Arab countries. We will not tolerate it on the pages of a major newspaper in the United States.

Auth must learn it doesn't pay to be TOO honest. Stick to drawing cartoons illustrating the evils of the death penalty, pedophiles in the Catholic Church, single moms on welfare and the crumbling, underfunded public school system. It's much safer.

I find it particularly amusing when leftists in the U.S. media believe they can get away with, even for a brief moment, taking sides with Palestinians or other Muslims in general. It amuses me to imagine what thoughts run through a leftist's head as their Jewish coercers suddenly begin to spew venom in lieu of the usual "That a boy, Shabbos Goy."

Yes, this is actually a path to enlightenment for a lot of folks on the left. Not that they're flocking our way, mind you, but I've heard some practically Linder-esque stuff from some pissed-off lefties.
