I appear to have been wrong, my posts are now appearing. I believe I read that the forum has 11 thousand members - a great place to advertise OD. Any volunteers?

Not a bad idea actually. With this and the [url=http://forum.originaldissent.com/index.php?showtopic=9392]GOPUSA Forum[/url] I'm sure if we work will get a few more posters seeking to rise above Freeperdom.
This appears to be mainly a loser - er (sorry juststopit and co) - libertarian site. But we already get some good people from LF, so I'll go for it.

Use OD activist Christine Horner's method, see [url=http://www.discussanything.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=35804]http://www.discussanything.com/forums/show...&threadid=35804[/url] She posts only part of the article, but then places the link to OD where the complete article is available. This way, they all have to come to OD to read the full text, and at the same time learn about the existence of OD. In fact, this way, the post does not appear as SPAM to the moderators.

What you do is create a disposable email account with hotmail or yahoo, then promote OD at the Yahoo Groups. But be sure to somehow tie in OD forum to their main theme so that it is not SPAM.
