I had to save the Quicktime file to my hard drive to view it, but it's worth the download for any fan of the movies.

Thanks! 'Tis the only movie that I'm going to be opening my wallet for.

I've tried to get into the LOTR films, but ....I dunno. Three times I've started FELLOWSHIP, and all three times I lost interest a half-hour in. I'll keep trying, but there's a weird Americanized, Afterschool Special flavor to the thing that turns me off. Maybe the fourth time will be the charm.

On the other hand, the HARRY POTTER movies are just as guilty of the same offenses yet I really enjoyed them both the first time out. Go figure...

As with most productions, the movies rarely do the books justice.

I think there's a "director's cut" version of FOTR out there that has scenes not included in the theatrical release, and it actually makes a much better movie.

Keep going past the first half-hour. It gets a lot better.
