Gosh, I read that book and I coulda sworn it said Whites 101, asians 104, and within the +/- margin of error.

Actually, the figure that The Bell Curve gives for East Asian IQ is 103. I have yet to meet anyone who puts East Asian IQ at "at least 10 points higher" that white IQ.

Since the late 50s most western European countries have been under tremendous demographic assault, waves upon waves of Third World immigrants have come to Europe (for e.g., France has six million Muslims -- mostly North Africans); hence, what does it mean today to say that you're "French" or "English", etc.? When it comes to those recent IQ scores for Europeans are we talking "old-stock" (i.e., real) Europeans, or anyone who happens to have a European passport? Let's not overlook hybrids (for e.g., Swedish mother and Ethiopian father), in what category do they belong? East Asian countries (with the possible exception of Singapore) don't accept immigrants (see Japan), therefore, their IQ scores are more reflective of their genetic capabilities (fewer hybrids). Additionally, Europe is a pretty diverse place; both Norwegians and Albanians are "European". I don't know if the genetic make-up, or ancestry, of those taking those IQ tests is taken into account. I would like to see IQ scores of old-stock Nordics (Germans, Swedes, Danes, etc.). BTW, one in four people in Sweden is not Swedish; that's why I emphasize "old-stock"...

IMO, the East Asian IQs may be depressed because many people (like possibly the bell curve authors) seem to lump North East Asians (e.g. the Chinese) and South East Asians (e.g. Filipinos) together, even though NE Asians seem to enjoy a 15-20 point IQ advantage over SE Asians. Counting all Asians in the US together would be like lumping blacks and whites together and calling the average of that figure the white IQ.
I actually read "IQ and the wealth of nations" and in the appendix the figure given for the IQ measured at a Chinese school (on which the 100 figure for China was based) in Shanghai was 112. The authors of that book claim that this figure came about due to the fact that the smarter Chinese tend to move from the countryside to the cities, disproportionately raising IQ scores. On the other hand one could argue that China is still a poor country and therefore IQ scores need to be inflated to compensate for negative effects of a poor environment.

Well, we're probably never going to get fully honest scores out of E. Asian countries anyway, as they have also been accused of "stacking" classes when samples of students were going to be tested and compared to "others".
Having gone to a HS that was close to 40% E. Asian, and to UCLA, I can tell you that their "intelligence" seems to be suited to memorization, learning and understanding, but as to actual insight ... well, why do they (and jews) engage in so much intellectual theft, patent theft, etc.? Hell, the Japanese were among the biggest lobbyists to have America's patent laws changed - to make it easier to "examine" (read:steal) American (that means White) ideas, etc. Indian "genius" Vinod Khosla was among this crowd, and is still crowing that things should be further "liberalized" - in the interest of speeding up advancement, of course ;).
I don't mind some of Yew's remarks - he's the guy that was trying to get E. Asians to figure out why Caucasians are "... so creative." He admitted that test scores aside, Whites were far, far more inventive than E. Asians. The former head of Sony (The Japan That Can Say No/Why Japan Will Be First Among Equals -- Shintaro Ishihara) said exactly the same thing. He also said: "... America was stronger when it was a White country," and came under seige - in the US - when he said Mexicans and blacks with their low IQ's were dragging it down. Who knows who is "smarter"? Smarter at what? So yeah, Asians seem able to learn, to understand. But being able to originate concepts, create, advance, they are a step behind ol' hated Whitey. And they know it. And those that hate Whites know it, which is why there is so much evidence of the "superiority" of others tossed Whitey's way - while Whitey continues to make the vast majority of advancements in all areas of science, technology, etc., even while the yahoodis do their best to grind the educational opportunities of Whites into the dust. Not all areas of intelligence can be measured.
Yew doesn't understand (or chooses not to comment) on the role jewish nepotism, cronyism, tribalism, etc. plays in their overrepresentation in so many fields. Not to mention their willingness to steal the work of others - much as E. Asians do.
Whites should be as openly supremacist as the E. Asians, jews, Indians, etc. are. It's a normal way of sticking up for one's "tribe". The Whites against this have been brainwashed. The E. Asians, jews, etc. can point to their accomplishments, and Whites can point to theirs.
Note - the Bell Curve Authors, and others (Lynn, Flynn, Rushton, etc.) , are very careful to NOT factor in the numbers of SE Asians with E Asians when showing IQ data. Too many people are looking for some way to show Whitey is inferior to someone. In fact, the only time SE Asian and E Asians are lumped together is when their is an attempt to show the Asian SD isn't that narrow when compared to Caucasians. E Asians have an SD of less than 9 points, Caucasians have an SD of 15, that's why there is a higher percentage of Caucasians at each end of the overall bell curve. There is a higher percentage of E. Asians clustered around the mean. In order to try and make it look as if E Asians had a wider SD, some "researchers" factored in the numbers from some SE Asian populations (while ignoring others). However, some "researchers" have been factoring various "Hispanic" IQ numbers into the overall numbers for Whites in an attempt to dip numbers, but that's to be expected in the US.
Each group has its strengths and weaknesses - real world results are what count. The jews and co-conspiring White elites are trying their best to destroy the "real world" for most Whites. That should be our concern, not "feel good" articles about intelligence from people trying to figure out why their super brains still have them copying from, or working for, those hated Whites.

Note that right off the bat, the article you cite states that the "... best of American students are under-served." Asians take education seriously. Very seriously. The average E. Asian student spends more time per DAY on homework than the average White students spends per WEEK. In the US, most Whites are in dumbed down public schools, excuse me, propaganda centers, that concentrate more on anti-White rhetoric and "raising the self-esteem" of blacks and browns than on real learning.

Whites are forbidden to do such a thing by penalty of loss of life or incarceration. Adolf Hitler rallied the Germans to install a White racial state and were ganged up on and thoroughly annihilated. You actually have a point, the West (Whites) are committing suicide and it's quite heartbreaking to behold, although the corruption at the highest levels of power in the US prefer that this country become a multiracial, multicultural, multireligious Third World Country. As far as racial slurs go, I believe in your case it would be "Jap". Most of us here tend to shy away from those terms.

If they were intelligent, they would have understood what nationalities were. For example, I know nothing about Sudan and Ethiopia. Thanks for the geography lesson. Africa is not a country? Who knew! Seriously, I think you are being a little too quick to extrapolate your worst redneck experiences to white people at large. Just the kind of thing that would be considered "racist" if a white person were to do it.

Ok, I did the test. Ahem 20 out of 20. I have to say I was surprised at some of the results. Only 21% of US citizens can find Israel on a map? Un-frikken-believable. I bet everyone on this board could find it however. I was pretty amused that more Mexicans can find the USA on a map than Americans themselves. I guess it's more practical knowledge for a Mexican, since they have to know which border to sneak across, whereas it's useless information for an American, since they are already there!

Well, you all look the same to me mate. I'm not trying to be insulting, it's just the truth. Conversely, as an Asian can you honestly say that you can tell an Italian from a Spaniard, or a German from a Russian? A friend of mine sent me a link to this site, which tests your ability to tell apart Chinese, Koreans and Japanese. My Asian-classification skill rating was "may as well flip a coin".

I think I could tell apart an Indonesian from a Japanese, because Indonesians are much darker skinned, but that's a pretty extreme comparison. Also a lot of Asian countries have many ethnic Chinese living there, which blurs the lines even more. My old boss was Vietnamese-born, but he was actually ethnically Chinese.

Interesting. Are Asians more likely to vote for left-leaning pro-affirmative action politicians in spite of this? Does anyone know? And if so, why? Does "sticking it to whitey" come before your own ethnic interests?

Right on Rowdy, those Asian who are able to go to school are far more smarter than most American that have the privilege of going to school.
Like I wrote at one time "The school system in the US only teaches enough to be able to make operators out fo the general population and not citizen who can think on their own".
