The Black Book of Communism was published originally in France, and in the United States in 1999. It is an 800-page compendium of the crimes of Communist regimes worldwide, recorded and analyzed in ghastly detail by a team of scholars. This link just includes excerpts from the introduction and conclusion, with some comments with regards to an evolutionary perspective challenging some of the authors assumptions
The Bolshevik revolution in Russia in 1917 ushered in the beginning of absolute totalitarianism and mass genocide. It was the model or template that was used by other totalitarians to follow including Nazi Germany and the Communist Chinese. But unlike other horrific historical periods, the Soviet genocide was covered up by Marxists in the West who embraced a new ideology to produce a new egalitarian state, one that used class as the defining criteria to put people to death. Unfortunately, they are still very much in control of the socialist part of this agenda, and are as active as ever on campuses, the media, and in government. This failed ideology is as pernicious and influential as it was over 100 years ago. Unlike National Socialism, egalitarian socialism maintains its presence in various forms in all Western nations.
According to The Black Book of Communism the genocide in China under Communism came to 65 million people, rather than the 35 million tallied by Rummel. But whatever the number was it was by far the greatest tragedy in sheer numbers. Chinese Communism varied in many respects from that of Russia, but the Russian Bolsheviks are largely responsible for teaching the Chinese the art of terror and the benefits to the state of slave labor camps. And of course, like Korea, Chinese archives are not as yet available for inspection. The horror that took place (and in some ways still is) will not be known until Communism collapses there.
The German people also suffered like so many other ethnic groups during WW II. History would have us believe that Germans were evil, and others innocent victims. Nothing could be further from the truth as this account of what took place in Norway explains.
This is a book by Ingomar Pust that was submitted to me for posting on this site. It tells of the horror suffered by Germans living in Czechoslovakia after the Nazis were defeated. Again, it shows that there were atrocities by all sides, and no country or people could escape culpability.
This new book by a German historian looks at the real facts with regards to the Second World War, and makes a good case that the Soviet Communists were far more genocidal than the Nazis, and were in fact more of a threat to the West than the Nazis. Since the opening of the Soviet archives, history is now being rewritten and the truth is emerging.
Caught between the Nazis and the Communists, the Ukrainian people have suffered as much as anyone in the last century. Their story has been largely ignored. Six million alone starved to death on purpose by Stalin, and caught in the middle of WWII, these people personify as well as any, how kinship will prevail in the end. These two web sites is how they feel today, and how they will not forget.
The Latvian Holocaust home page is a rich source of information on what was happening to those small nations caught between the Nazis and the Communists.
The Black Book of Communism and Rummel both agree on the figure of 2 million dead under the Khmer Rouge Communists. And America bears a great deal of responsibility for unleashing the forces of the most sadistic and brutal suppression of people known in the 20th Century. But the seeds of this gruesome tragedy were also sown in France where Marxism was readily absorbed by Pol Pot, the mastermind of this Bolshevik Holocaust. No other people as a group suffered more than did the Cambodians under this terror.
South Africa (and Zimbabwe also) is now carrying out a program of genocide against Whites. It will be interesting to see if the world cares now that Whites are victims. Political correctness aside, there is a double standard for Whites and everyone else.

Hmmm, that is strange. The owner of the site, Matt Nuenke, was changing his ISP, so I guess the AT&T site is now shut down. He was moving to Comcast. I'll see if I can find the new site.
