*** Put Iraq Casualties In Proper Perspective*** > ** July 21, 2003
Folks, we're getting a daily death update out of Iraq, and we're hearing slogans like, "One a day," and "Our troops are being slaughtered," from the Democrats, as their willing accomplices in the press try to concoct this notion that the casualty rate over there is outrageous and intolerable.
The following statistics come from the Centers for Disease Control website: On a daily basis, on average, 10 Americans die by drowning, and nine Americans die by fire in their homes. 14 Americans die by pedestrian accidents. 27 Americans die in falls. On average, 50 Americans a day are murdered. 118 die in auto accidents, and 25 people die from A.I.D.S. every day, on average. Yesterday, two Americans died in battle in Iraq.
We are at war. The war isn't over, but it's time that somebody put some of this in perspective. The loss of a single member of the military is one too many, and what I'm saying here is not intended to minimize the losses that we've suffered, nor is it an attempt to defend Bush or our policy. What I want to do here is simply analyze the reporting and politicizing. There is a lack of perspective and proportion in the reporting of the casualties over there, and all you have to do to expose it, is examine some facts.
**W's Approval Rating Has Withstood Assault **
Annualize the numbers and you find that on average, 3,400 Americans drown every year, 3,400 die by fire, 5,200 Americans die in pedestrian accidents every year, 10,000 Americans die in falls every year, 43,000 die in auto accidents every year. 15,000 Americans are murdered every year, and 8,000 Americans die every year from A.I.D.S. One or two Americans a day are dying in Iraq. So why are we getting a daily Iraq death update when we don't get daily drowning death updates or fire death updates or pedestrian updates, accidents, this kind, when the numbers are clearly far greater than what is happening in Iraq? The answer is obvious.
We lost as many Americans in one airplane on September 11 as we've lost in all of Iraqi Freedom. We've lost almost 20 times as many Americans in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. The media doesn't want to replay those tragedies, but they are perfectly content to demoralize our troops with today's death count, of one or two, and how the total compares to Desert Storm. No matter what the media tells you, this war is not like Vietnam and they're constantly using that as their base point, or the frame of reference.
Dick Morris, who just wrote that Bush is invincible and brilliant is now saying he's never seen anyone's approval ratings cave so quickly. Morris has noted that even when his former client, Bill Clinton, was impeached for lying to a grand jury and the nation, his job approval rating still hovered at 62%, but Bush's approval, which hovered in the mid-80s after the Iraqi war, has tumbled to 53% in the latest Zogby poll. Morris has chalked up the slide to the one-a-day death count of U.S. soldiers in Iraq, but says the president is also a victim of his own success in the war on terrorism. This war was thrust upon us and this president has gone about the business of winning it. Still, I'm amazed the president's approval numbers are still at 53%. Since Florida 2000, there has been a constant drumbeat of criticism of Bush personally, on his credibility, on his intelligence, on everything. What is this notion that we need a liberal media outlet because people don't have a way of being heard?
Listen to Rush... (AP: U.S. Soldier, Iraqi Interpreter Killed) (NewsMax: Dick Morris: Bush Approval Rating in 'Free Fall') (Zogby: Bush Job Performance Slips to 53% Positive, 46% Negative) **
It is a great mistake to laugh and sneer at this windbag. He truly is a malevolent influence on our electorate who have the same courage and values he does.

Wasn't it declared to be over?

**Wasn't it declared to be over? **
Yes, but I guess they changed their minds and re-declared war.

Rush is a really big fan of The Special, Shiny People. :) Rush would never DREAM of saying anything negative about them.
[hmmmmm, hmmmmm -- humming the love theme from "Gentleman's Agreement"....]

Rush is married to a Joo isn't he? Not only does he have poor taste in politics but poor taste for finding women to sleep with.

Not only is he married to a Joo, he is also a draft dodger too, the fat piece of s :dung: *it.
He should have been in the military during the Viet Nam war, but he got a defferement. Maybe one of his father's jooish friends helped him out. Maybe that is why he loves them now? :cowboy:

Actually Rush got rejected for military service because of some ingrown hair follicle on his ass!
It's one thing to be legimately declared unfit for duty because of real health problems (Spengler was rejected for a weak heart, Goebbels for his club feet as examples), its another thing to use a lame excuse like that to get out of military service(since it is treatable).

Right on. Notice the source of comparison of apples and oranges: the Center of Disinformation (Disease) Control. Who dreams up these absurd non-sequitors? Not Limbaugh himself alone, I'll bet.

Gibson screens "The Passion" for Limbaugh: http://mfile.akamai.com/5020/wma/rushlimb...._thepassion.asx Bizarre comments from Rush, having nothing to do with the controversy surrounding the movie. No mention of the chosenites, of course.

Thanks for the clip, Recluse.
Rush sputters and stutters a whole lot more than he used to.

While it's true that the number of US combat deaths in Iraq is relatively small (so far), those deaths are far from the only problem critics have with this war.
Limbaugh fails to take into account the many troops who've been severely injured and may never walk again, or those who've been disfigured by their wounds, etc. And what about the remaining soldiers -- the ones who have escaped physical injury but nevertheless have to tolerate terrible hardships and the psychological burden of being away from their families for so long?
And what about the Iraqi casualties? Children getting blown up, old people getting shot, etc....I don't see how any person of conscience can fail to include those casualties in the cost of this war.
Then you have the issue of money: this occupation is costing something like a billion dollars a week, and there's no end in sight. Weren't taxes high enough to start with?
From a broader perspective, there's the certainty that the war on Iraq will encourage greater anti-US sentiment around the world, making future terrorist attacks more likely and straining our relationships with allies. The current "War on Terrorism" is already costing the US oodles of money for BS "homeland security" measures that would never have been needed in the first place if the US hadn't been slavishly supporting Israeli tyranny in the Middle East for all these years.
ZOG is bringing the US down to new lows. Its lies are getting more and more brazen, and its attitude increasingly arrogant. If anything good comes from this whole Iraq fiasco, it might be that more Americans will wake up to the fact that their government has been subverted by Israel and its lobby. All of us should take advantage of this opportunity to spread the word among the many discontented Americans who are asking questions but not receiving answers from anyone but the mainstream Jewsmedia.

Great clip! What a bag of hot air. I guess he can't really say much because of his jooish wife, Marta. I wonder if she watched it? or did they have to tie her down and throw holy water on her? That fat piece of :dung: sold his soul to the evil Reptilians for alot of money and he knows it. Lets see , his boss is a joo, his wife is one too, he is surounded by them. I noticed lately he too is starting to look like a reptile. Have you noticed how the joos take on Christian names but MISSPELL them on purpose. For example Limbauh's wife, Marta as opposed to MartHa, or Paul instead of Saul, or Jon instead of John, etc... always one letter off. In other words enough to sound Christian but not a Christian name. They are always trying to fool the stupid goyim.
