This long running saga involves an openly gay C of E Canon who had been quietly appointed to Bishop of Reading. According to his fans, he is in a 'celibate' relationship and has never inhaled either. However, enter stage left....

More than a bitter row! evidently the Synod was gatecrashed by well-known shirtlifter Peter Tatchell and some pals who gave the assembly a lesson in genuflection. At least I think that's what it was, press reports are a little vague on the details. :D
