It's looking more certain that the two 'Britons' in the original six scheduled for the first military tribunal will be getting off. If, as looks likely, they are repatriated to the UK for trial they will never be convicted due to rules for admissible evidence.

"... The US has agreed to suspend controversial military court proceedings against British detainees held at Guantanamo Bay, pending talks with British legal officials, it was announced today. A White House statement said that Tony Blair and George Bush, who discussed the issue in Washington yesterday, had asked US and British legal experts to meet to discuss a range of options for dealing with the men. "Pending these discussions, the president has determined not to commence any military commission proceedings against UK nationals," the statement, by White House spokesman Scott McClellan, said....
