The film was playing on the Westside of LA (heavily jewish) for a couple of weeks.It figures the film turned out to be an element for the defense of a family engaging in typical jewish behavior :D .

Further investigation shows
The house was a small 2 story job ( no basement ). During the day the mother ran a child care center on the main floor - in the afternoon Arnold taught computer classes.

On thanksgiving of 1987 the police broke down the door - starting searching the house - the mother walked in and panicked - attacked the lead dectective and was arrested.
All her day school toddlers were also interviewed.
Elaine Friedman

Mrs. Friedman pleaded guilty to attempted assault, second degree, and obstructing governmental administration. She was sentenced Oct. 20, 1988, to three years probation and a $1,000 fine.

I am afraid this case is a lot deeper than these Hebrews make it out to be.

Had two of Jesse ( 18 yr old son) friends that were involved but the kids couldn't ID.
Detective Galasso was preparing to arrest one, or both, of the brothers.
It seems the ' Jewish community ' went into high gear. All political pressures were brought to bear for a plea on the Father , Jesse and a Ross Goldsmith.
