The shocking thing in all of this is where this incident took place in the great state of Connecticut , the land of Rockefeller Republicanism and Kennedy Liberalism . If white "racially incorrect "actions such as this can happen there then White Nationalism might have a future across the country. Anyway I am just pleased that some white New Englanders still have some b-lls. B)
What started out as a peaceful celebration of the recent Malik Jones verdict turned into an ugly display of racial tension Saturday afternoon in East Haven that ultimately ended with disgust on both sides.
"I was hoping for something very different, I was hoping for the possibility that there had been some change, but I saw that it was worse. I was very disappointed," said Emma Jones, Malikââ¬â¢s mother.
Family, friends and supporters of Emma Jones gathered on Grand Avenue to celebrate a federal civil juryââ¬â¢s ruling East Haven police Sgt. Robert Flodquist used excessive force when he shot and killed Jones on April 14, 1997. The jury ordered the town of East Haven to pay Jonesââ¬â¢ family $2.5 million in damages.
Flodquist, who was not held personally liable for the fatal shooting, said Jones was trying to run him over with his car and that he used his weapon because he thought his life was in danger.
The Greater New Haven branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People helped organized the 50-vehicle motorcade and led the procession into East Haven.
Dressed in her trademark all-white outfit, Jones joined family, friends and supporters in a prayer before the procession to the East Haven green.
"This is so overwhelming, beautiful, powerful," she said smiling shortly before leaving.
"Itââ¬â¢s reassuring that these people have been with me. Itââ¬â¢s a peopleââ¬â¢s verdict. Itââ¬â¢s for them the guys that are incarcerated, killed, all those that have had their rights violated at the hands of law enforcement."
The cars crept down Grand Avenue to the supportive shouts and cheers from onlookers and other cars. People in New Haven stood in front of their homes waving the two-fingered peace and victory symbol ââ¬â just as Jones did on Thursday when she left U.S. District Court in Hartford.
A diverse mix of residents from New Haven and surrounding communities had gathered in front of Grand Audio Motorsport on Grand Avenue for words of welcome and prayer before getting in their cars.
"Weââ¬â¢re here to celebrate, itââ¬â¢s long overdue, " said Paula Panzarella of New Haven, a close friend of Jones, who drove along with her husband Frank. "East Haven can be glad that itââ¬â¢s resolved and finally they can go forward without having the stigma (of being a racist town)."
But the motorcadeââ¬â¢s support vanished once the motorcade crossed into East Haven.
Shouts of "negro go home," and obscene hand gestures greeted the motorcade in full force as it made its way down Main Street towards the Green.
Adults and children stood silently outside of homes, business and cars.
Several East Haven motorists, upset that the motorcade slowed traffic, honked their horns in protest. East Haven police had stopped traffic at major intersections to let motorcade through.
"This is ridiculous," yelled one woman who got out of her car as the intersection of Townsend and Main Streets. "Itââ¬â¢s not even an authorized march anyway. Itââ¬â¢s against the law."
As the van carrying Jones and members of the NAACP approached East Haven City Hall, a few young men tried to rush the van but were stopped by East Haven Police Chief Leonard Gallo.
When the motorcade approached Town Hall at High Street and Main Street, an angry crowd of about 80 people was waiting.
"GO HOME! GO HOME! GO HOME!" the all-white crowd chanted, flipping their middle fingers at the motorcade.
East Haven resident Andrea Oââ¬â¢Brien walked into the middle of the intersection of High and Main streets, holding a cardboard sign above her head that said, "Itââ¬â¢s not over yet. Police donââ¬â¢t kill the innocent."
Oââ¬â¢Brien brought the sign close to Emma Jonesââ¬â¢ vehicle, which bore a large "Justice for Malik" sign on the grill. Jones stared wide-eyed, her mouth slightly open, as she saw the sign and heard the screaming crowd about 12 yards away.
Oââ¬â¢Brien said she was standing up for her "hardworking tax dollars."
"This (motorcade) is a slap in the face to this town," she said.
"Iââ¬â¢m sick of hearing weââ¬â¢re racist.
We hate criminals ââ¬â period.
"Where was (Emma Jones) while her son was growing up, becoming a criminal?"
Keith Springfield of Armed Security Services joined the motorcade as bodyguards for Jones and her family. He expected tempers in East Haven would run high, but he didnââ¬â¢t think Jones would need a lot of physical protection.
He later said he was wrong.
The crowd continued to shout as the motorcade circled the Green and headed back to New Haven.
"They called me a (expletive) negro and told me to go back to Africa," said Scot X. Esdaile, president of the NAACP. "The mayor (of East Haven) said there was no racism in East Haven, I said that if we go there we can expose it."
As the crowd grew louder and more agitated, Gallo stepped in and told those in the street to stay on the sidewalk.
"It ainââ¬â¢t about nothinââ¬â¢ but money!" a tanned man in a yellow tank top yelled.
"Stop, stop, stop," Gallo said.
"Please stop. Youââ¬â¢re not helping me."
The chiefââ¬â¢s actions sparked even more anger and frustration from the crowd.
"The East Haven police chief is a disgrace," said New Haven resident Roberta Curcio, whose children live in East Haven. "Heââ¬â¢s yelling at people in East Haven to get back. Whoââ¬â¢s paying for all these extra cops? We are, the taxpayers."
East Havener Ed Vecello Sr., who joined the protest, said the motorcade was "rubbing salt on a wound."
"Any respect I had for them is gone now," he said. "She got the verdict. What more does she want?"
Several men in the crowd wore white T-shirts that said, "I support Officer Flodquist ââ¬â Justice for ââ¬Ëall.ââ¬â¢" One of them, East Haven resident Richard Kennedy, held a small sign that read, "Criminals, stay out of East Haven. Everybody else welcomed!"
Kennedy said he had more inflammatory signs but did not show them at the request of East Haven police.
"Itââ¬â¢s a shame what happened, but he got what he deserved," Kennedy said, referring to Malik Jones. "He was trying to run over a police officer."
Several people in the crowd yelled, "Obstructing traffic! Give him a ticket!" when a motorcyclist stopped in the middle of the intersection as the motorcade rolled along.
Those in the motorcade had different reactions to the furious crowd. A black woman in pink leaned out of one of the vehicles in the motorcade and flashed the victory sign with both hands, sparking more chants of "GO HOME!"
Another man in the motorcade riding in a green SUV popped out of the sunroof and gave the crowd two middle fingers, which the crowd immediately returned en mass.
"Get out!" East Haven resident Nancy Massaro yelled at the man. Massaro said she knew the caravan would "provoke things."
"Iââ¬â¢m sorry, but I donââ¬â¢t consider this a victory," she said.
"Our taxes will go up, and weââ¬â¢re going to get creamed."
Massaro defended Flodquistââ¬â¢s actions, saying the officer could easily have been hurt or killed during the chase.
"You know how fast he couldââ¬â¢ve hit the accelerator?" she said, referring to Jones. "The cop did his job as far as Iââ¬â¢m concerned."
As the motorcade continued, East Haven resident Jeff Lendroth got the crowd to replace the "Go home" chant with "Bull----! Bull----! Bull----!"
Lendroth was on his way to pick up Chinese food when he stopped to talk with the small group of protesters in front of town hall at 4 p.m. He joined them after getting his food.
"I want a piece of cardboard (to write) ââ¬ËIf you wouldââ¬â¢ve stopped, youââ¬â¢d still be alive,ââ¬â¢" he said. "Theyââ¬â¢re trying the same thing as O.J. ââ¬â racism."
As the motorcade neared the end, an unidentified man in a green T-shirt and sunglasses shot his middle fingers in the air and screamed "F--- you! F--- you!" A school-aged boy in black hair and a blue T-shirt also flipped his middle finger with the crowd.
Mark Lipka, a lifelong East Haven resident, said the motorcade was nothing more than a chance for Jones to "gloat." "All she wants to do is cause more trouble," said Lipka. "She didnââ¬â¢t raise her kid right, and thatââ¬â¢s the bottom line."
Most of the supporters in New Haven said they did not expect the rally to become hostile.
"There might be some that feel negative," Frank Panzarella said. "East Haven has a chance to do the right thing with respect to the people."
Supporters were deflated and disappointed upon their return to Grand Auto Motorsports.
Members of the NAACP thanked the somber crowd for going through "the madness" peacefully.
"When I did the circle in East Haven a white woman (in another car) looked me directly in the face and said, ââ¬ËIââ¬â¢m glad heââ¬â¢s dead,ââ¬â¢" said Ronelle Williams, a New Haven resident and friend of Jones. "After all weââ¬â¢ve been through, six years of injustice and pain ââ¬â to hear her evil comments stunned me." At first Jones said she had to leave early because she was concerned about Malikââ¬â¢s 9-year daughter who was riding along in the motorcade. Jones said her granddaughter wasnââ¬â¢t taking it very well and "saw too much today." But as other supporters took the microphone to express their outrage at the dayââ¬â¢s events Jones returned to ask the crowd if they believed East Haven was safe for people of color.

I was taught chemistry in High School by an honorable white man who had retired from the chemical industry, and was an excellent teacher.
He had a son that went bad, smoked pot and pulled a gun on a cop while high. He was sorry his son was dead, but never blamed the cop.
THAT is the difference between us and them. Self-criticism is a trait that served us in the cold wastes of the north, and although it is now being used against us, it is what makes us worth saving.

Encouraging to see these signs of White resistance against filthy, ungrateful n*ggers who continue to rub it in our White faces....but not for much longer. These occurances are going to be numerous as we approach the Collapse and that's when payback becomes a beeeeotch.

It appears that some whites indeed have had enough rubbed in their faces to FINALLY take a bit of a stand. This will probably happen more and more in small pockets of this country over the next few years. Sure, things have to get far worse before they fully change, but hopefully this shows that some whites do have that fighting spirit. It's just buried under the wreckage and debris caused by jewish hatred, meddling and money in DC - and everywhere else. Thanks for posting this. Made my day.

No surprise here - from the names in the article, this seems to be a mostly Italian town. The Italians are one of the few communities in the US that have maintained e healthy level of comunity/tribal solidarity and combativeness. Thank god for the Italians.

Not only in the US. There has been a kind language coming out of Italy refering to the Magreb/Sahel/Islam invasion in the recent years that has shocked the sensibilities of the Eurowiggers in the rest of the EU. But finally, virtually everything that made Western civilization as we know it comes from Italy. Roman law, latin alphabet, latin language ("Germanic" languages like English and German are heavily impacted by latin), the Christian faith, the modern state, rule of law, the medival city republics, the Renaissance, the modern science, most of the arts in sculpure, architecture and paintings comes from that country. Italy is a cultural superpower no nation in the West can ever compete with. They know who they are and they have more understanding of culture than the rest of us. So sure they know what is at stake.
May it be that the English and German Teutowiggers are just so negrophile because deep down they long for the stone age culture the Romans led us out?

I noticed that too. There were a number of Irish names as well.
This is a pleasing development; if only something similar would happen with a larger, more public case of racial extortion, perhaps blacks would think twice before suing when someone reacts appropriately to negro violence.

My question is... does she believe East St. Louis, or Southside Chicago, or Compton and Watts, or Washington D.C. or the Bronx, or Atlanta, or... is safe for people of "not colored?"

I'm working in CT right now. As far as I know, there is no "organized" White Nationalist activity. I've heard of the White Wolves and a recent altercation involving them and some homo group at a library (in Bridgeport, I believe). No National Alliance unit; I drive to NJ for meetings.
So this event was spontaneous, yet it seems most of the Whites involved would rather not say the "N" word, but rather pretend it's just about this one individual bilking the town out of 2.5 large for her no-good kid, when probably she's just as glad as everybody else that he's dead - in fact, I bet she's euphoric about it at the moment.
But I think we read between the lines correctly and certainly the negroes aren't fooled. It's racial, all right, and the Whites are sick and tired of the blacks, period.
But as I say, it's very encouraging to see a reaction like this. These people are angry and hopefully receptive to the White Nationalist message. Maybe a little leafletting in this neighborhood would pay off.

Looks like a good opportunity for the NA or someone to do that "door-to-door" activism thing, Mormon-Style, like in Maine (which I thought was a far better tactic than rallies and marches).

Marches and rallies are flashpoints. While the ARA types do sometimes get arrested for attacking people, none of them are ever convicted; yet a WN will get jail time for defending himself. The courts have tacitly declared open season on WNs, and the rotten bunch knows it.
So I'd say public gatherings are out unless we have at least a hundred people, which for us is a national event, whereas the door-to-door tactic can be effective with only a dozen or so people and the jews have little opportunity to be disruptive.
The problem is that it takes a personal psychological breakthrough to actually go canvassing on a hot-button issue like race, at least it did for me.

I'm glad to hear whites standing up to the NAACP criminals and defending their people's honor. Who knows this maybe the start of a hugh white backlash. Too bad I don't see anything like that where I live, my town's overruned with all sorts of negrophiles. Whiggers, Chiggers, Higgers, Yidggers, and of course N*ggers, you name it.

Well, it's not like being born again or something, just a natural reluctance to walk onto a stranger's property, knock on his door, introduce yourself as NA, and ask his opinion of the sudden appearance of 2000 illiterate Bantu muslim welfare cases across the river.
A couple of things could happen, I figured, before I grit my teeth and did it:
A: The resident freaks and runs the Nazi off the property with a shotgun B: The resident freaks and calls 911 C: The resident is OK with it or indifferent to either NA members on his porch or Bantu muslims in the projects
Most residents turned out to be "C".
I had in mind how the media makes people out to be absolutely hysterical over finding a leaflet in the driveway, even though I chalk most of that up to hype and selective quoting in the "news" reports, so I didn't know how people were going to react to a real live nazi-satanist-hatemonger-racist-KKK-grand-dragon-from-hell-who-wants-to-kill-six-million-jews-demon-incarnate at the front door.
I think a lot of the legitimate negative reaction to flyers found in the morning is because it relates to surreptitious activity during the night, which nobody likes the idea of, so I rarely do it, only in the context of some other kind of broad-daylight activism.
Still, we were not exactly selling vacuum cleaners; we are not exactly the Elks club; the media has demonized us relentlessly as the worst kind of vile trash; and nobody really likes door-to-door salesmen.
All this was in my mind. Nor am I exactly Mr. Rogers. Meeting new people is stressful to me under the best of circumstances, not that I am a loner or bereft of reasonable social skills, it's just not my cup of tea.

Kevin MacDonald's Culture of Critique has completed my awakening.
Facts. We have the facts supporting our politics and ideology. But facts are not enough in the face of relentless propaganda. Polite objections and reasoned debate will not stop a bulldozer.
Recently I was prvileged to address a National Alliance meeting. I spoke of Carol Swain's book in the larger context of rational opposition to White Nationalism. Swain agrees with every major point we make, concedes the validity of every plank in the White Nationalist platform. Any intellectually honest person who considers these issues must concede the facts to us, there really is no choice.
Negro criminality is beyond question, jew dominance of the media cannot be denied, current immigration policy will swamp this country and result in a squalid third world pesthole of teeming slums where once peace and quiet and prosperity reigned; and so on and so forth. Everybody, every reasonable person, knows this.
Yet even the vast majority of such people remain in opposition. Why? Well, in Swain's case, of course, she is a negro, so of course she cannot support White Nationalism, but what of the Whites who share her assessment of the issues but still condemn us as evil racists? I speak of those like Pat Buchanan.
Why? How do we address such a situation? It is like warning a reasonable, mature, sane, sober adult to stay on the sidewalk during rush hour, and of course such an adult would scoff that we even felt the need to offer caution in the face of such an obvious danger - yet he covers his eyes and walks deliberately into traffic. It is bizarre.
How many times have you talked to acquaintances around the water cooler, people who express full agreement, sometimes even with some passion, then to say "but I'm not a racist"?
It's odd. It's impenetrable. This double-think will be the doom of us.

Seriously, it's doubtful any of the Whites were thinking of themselves as Italians or Irish or whatever during this incident. Just a bunch of fed up WHITES. Which is what we need much more of.
