The rumors have always circulated that Pope John Paul I was murdered after only 33 days in office.

This creates a problem since his cause for beatification is ongoing and not everyone wants to re-open the issue.

I have recently heard that he was the only Pope in history to have been cremated, furthering all the suspicion.

Any information that could be provided here would be appreciated.
