Murder rap for Minn. mom who tossed twins in river
ST. PAUL - A 24-year-old mom who went berserk and tossed her twin baby boys into the fast-moving Mississippi River was charged yesterday with murder and attempted murder. One toddler died - his body was found hours later downriver - and the other was rescued by shocked witnesses who had gathered at the river on July 4 to watch a fireworks display.
The mother, Naomi Gaines, 24, also jumped into the river, shouting, "Freedom!" on the way down, according to authorities. She too was rescued and hospitalized Friday.
Yesterday, she was charged in the death of 14-month-old son, Sincere Understanding Allah, and with attempted murder of his twin brother, Supreme Knowledge Allah.According to cops, Gaines told them she would "rather be dead than live in a place where I'm not free to walk around. I'm not free to be who I am."
Neighbors described Gaines as a sad and lonely woman. Her sister, Phyllis Chew, said Sunday that Gaines was always a "very caring mother" but had been under "continuous and emotional distress over a long period of time." Gaines' two older kids were placed with relatives.

Since she apparently names her kids to reflect what she wants for them, maybe "50 mil NBA Contract Allah" or "Double Platinum Gangsta Rap Single Allah" is more like it...

What's worse, giving your kid a name like that or killing him?
