Perhaps someone can tie in Original Dissent forum to guns, then post a link to OD along with the guns related message. Small tricks like this can go a long way in bringing in more members to OD.

Often useful information can be found on AssaultWeb.net and AR15.com but I got sick of all the PC nonsense on AssaultWeb.net and other Gun Forums. It looks like AR15.com got rid all non-gun Discussion Forums, I think some of the members of AR15.com said some un-PC things about the Mexicans, IDF, and other things. Both seen full of AFT bootlickers. If you attack the ATF you are them attack by a large number of the posters. And you can not tell other memembers of the Forum if a companies rips you off, that does seem right. I remember A story I posted on AssaultWeb.net about Cops selling machine guns was deleted. I remember members of both Forum telling people they go to the ATF to ask questions about guns. Now that is Foolishness! I will admit I have gotten some useful information off these sites.

Now I said I do think we should avoid breaking Gun laws. I think we should learn as much as We can about Firearms and Gunsmithing. And might I ask what happened to free speech? I do understand that control has to put on a Forum to keep fools and trolls down, but they went past such point.

In addition to the Forum Conduct Code that governs all of AR15.COM, we have one cardinal rule:
No questions about or discussion of anything illegal.
This means no questions like:
"Where do I drill the hole for the auto disconnector?" "What parts are needed to convert my AR15 to an M16?" "If I file off my sear, will my AR15 run full-auto?"
PLEASE do not try the "I would never do this, I just want to know how it's done" routine.
Also prohibited are links to other web sites that publish information on illegal conversions.**

Overthrow.com is does not many members and has a lot nonsense on it, but also has an uncensored Forum MESSAGEBOARDS for Guns and Explosives. Sadly very few good posts. It is worth a look.

I remember members of one the memembers of these Forums saying Mexicans are Good because "They love Guns." The Moron seems to forget they always vote for anti-Gun Dem. canidates. And that they are running around killing people and building their Aztlan.

I got banned from AR-15, if memory serves. Isn't that the one run by the guy who publishes SWAT Magazine? That was the one.
I've been banned from about 8 or 9 websites in the past 2 years. Who'da thunkit? :rolleyes:

Well sure, many of them are politically naive. But that doesn't mean they aren't salvagable. If the forum adminstator's let us on, a little pedagogy and subtle plugs of relevant OD threads might work wonders.
Like they say you teach almost anybody, except the man that already knows everything. :D
