Campaign targets racism

A million dollar advertising campaign launched this week will urge New Zealanders to be more racially tolerant.
"We're all New Zealanders" was developed and paid for by John Roberts, a New Zealander who says we need to cut down on the stereotypes.
He lived in Singapore for five years and promoted New Zealand as an immigrant-friendly Eden, but when he returned he discovered a different picture.
His advertising company, McCann Erickson, conducts weekly focus groups across the country and for a time they asked questions on ethnicity, immigration and race.
"It's fair to say attitudes softened the further north we went," said Roberts.
He said examples of the quotes include: "I'm glad I live in the South Island - I couldn't cope with living with all those slopes in Auckland" and "The place is being run over by foreigners, they just don't add anything to our society".
Roberts, the Human Rights Commission, media and community leaders developed the new campaign.
Statistics New Zealand figures show NZ's racial profile is changing and it estimates there will be more than 600,000 Asian New Zealanders by 2021.
The Prime Minister says her electorate of Mt Albert, where more than 40% of locals are non-European, is the look of New Zealand's future.
"I think it's good for people who live together to have a common sense of each other," Helen Clark says.
The campaign will kick off in the Beehive on Wednesday night.

Just out of curiosity, is there a European populated country anywhere where the percentage of whites is at least holding steady vis-à-vis total population? Iââ¬â¢m not asking for the moon here, e.g. Israeli type immigration laws (though little good they do given their labour policies), but some measure of comfort knowing that there exists a country where rulers believe that the founding genotype is deserving of preservation would be nice.
The former colonies are do not come close to meriting consideration and off-hand I canââ¬â¢t think of a single European state that would fit the bill. Ex Warsaw pact states are out. As is Iceland and other similarly geographically isolated locales of Aryandom.
The line-ups of Euro 2004 squads will be most revealing. Most states have never been discriminating in fielding a colourful assortment of hominids. ââ¬ÅFranceââ¬Â has long been thus in name only, and Germany made history the last time around (may have been the World Cup) by playing a coloured footballer. Poland will follow suit and so will a few heretofore non-progressive others. In time all will look like Brazil. Pity they wonââ¬â¢t settle for mere imitation of style of play. :thd:

New Zealand is about 80% composed of European ethnics - and if they want to keep their culture and heritage intact, they'll do something to keep it that way.
On a positive note, in today's newspapers I read that NZ passed a law ensuring that everyone has access to beaches along the coastline. Previously major sections were restricted only to the Maori (who make up almost 10% of the population). A small but important victory for the non-Maori slice of society. A big hurrah to our NZ friends who are apparently in this instance not bowing to an exaggeratedly powerful aboriginal lobby.

I would be willing to bet that the forthcoming Republic of Flanders that will come to pass within 5 years should fit the bill. The Vlaams Blok looks unstoppable now. The only n*igger in the woodpile is the daft notion some VB higher-ups are entertaining about joining the Dutch in a 'Groot-Nederland'.
I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss some members of the old Ostblock either. They don't like darkies one bit, and are working vigorousy to eject those few they have (e.g. the Roma in CS, Poland etc).
Regarding NZ, the South Island is relatively untainted, it's spectaularly beautiful, about the size of Idaho with less than half million population. The farther you get from Auckland the fewer darkies. It's too damp and cold for them.

I read recently that the child population of Antwerp is majority muslim. Familiarity breeds contempt.

That would be good news. I suppose one acquires an education by sharing a border with a country that is importing turd world subjects while already boasting the highest (or close to) population density on a tiny continent with ample competition for said distinction.

Say no more. Only the Zhids are more racist than Eastern Euros (Exhibit A: OD clientele). The Germans have it in them as well, but their conditioning has been particularly intense and the population is quite subdued on anything pertaining to racial matters. Still, outside the Fatherland they sing a different tune, so there may be hope. Unfortunately, we are for the most part talking about countries that are but specs on a map and their guarded immigration policies (such as they are) will all be for not so long as the big boys around them continue their flirtation with US-style immigration and multiculturalism. In any event, membership in the EU guarantees that they too will eventually be flooded.
PS: Guess where Prague finally found suckers willing to take in a few of the Roma? Yes, twaz Canuckistan. No surprise really for where else would anyone find immigration laws as lax and governmental officials as imbecile. It took only about three months following the arrival of the last batch for the normally pro-minority rag Toronto (Red) Star to do an extensive story on the Gypsiesââ¬â¢ penchant for abusing [un]employment insurance and their unsurpassed skill for pick pocketing. What a scoop that was! Canââ¬â¢t quite recall whether the rag deemed the revelation as exclusive. :th: ;) :( :crybaby:
