Strange days indeed when defending your nation from a deluge of foreign invaders is denounced. In my opinion Italy would be a much better place if more of Bossi's countrymen shared his nationalistic fervor.

Alka, good to find this story. I support Bossi in beautiful Italie. What else can be done to stop the dirt from washing up on its beautiful, ancient shores and destroying Italie's fantastic cities?
Like M. Bossi in Italie, in my opinion France would be a much better place if Jean-Marie Le Pen had been rightfully elected to lead France to a new nationalism and throw out the non-French filth.

Umberto Bossi,A storm has erupted in Italy after a senior government minister was quoted as saying that boats carrying illegal immigrants to Italy should be shot out of the water. Umberto Bossi, head of the far-right Northern League, wanted the action because he was "sick" of illegal immigrants.
Corriere della Sera quoted Mr Bossi as saying that weapons should now be used because there was no other solution. "After the second or third warning, bang... we fire the cannon," the paper quoted him as saying. "Without too much talking. A cannon to knock out whoever may be there. Otherwise we're never going to put an end to this problem."
