ORLANDO, Fla. (Reuters) - Habitat for Humanity, the nonprofit group that builds low-cost housing, is opening an unorthodox ''theme park'' at its world headquarters this week designed to give tourists a look at the world's worst slums.
Millard Fuller, founder of the organization, said he expects the Global Village & Discovery Center to attract as many as 70,000 tourists in its first year of operation.
''Essentially, it's a theme park for poverty housing,'' Fuller told Reuters. ''You'll come out of the center and walk right into a slum. You'll see the kind of pitiful living conditions so many people in the world have.''
After touring mock slums from Africa, Asia and Central America, visitors to the Global Village will see examples of the modest homes Habitat builds in those regions.

It's time you learned about the horrible conditions people-of-color are forced to live under, due to the evil greed and oppression of the White male power structure.
PWH: But honey, um...don't you think they're a little too young for this? I mean, they're just kids.
Sally Soccermom: (angry) Typical White Male Patriarchal Response (WMPR)! You're never too young to experience White guilt, I say. In fact, the younger the better. Children's minds are still forming; if they start hating themselves for being White now, they'll be weak, neurotic, guilt-ridden, self-hating wrecks by the time they reach adulthood. Hopefully, they'll hate themselves--and their race--so much, they'll decide not to have any children. Maybe they'll marry someone outside their race, and haved beautiful, mixed children; or they'll adopt some non-White children. If enough Whites do this, people-of-color can take over, and set the world right!
PWH: (nervously) Um, and this a good thing? I-I'm just asking.
Sally Soccermom: (sighs) Oh, you're impossible! It may be too late for me to change your racist attitudes, but not the children's!
PWH: Sorry dear.
Sally Soccermom: In fact, I don't want you coming with us and spoiling everything. You can stay home in racist solitude. Now, give me your credit card.

Great. As if heaping it on in every university in the country, as well as filling the public airways with this crap, now you can go on a "white guilt" vacation.

Oh no, we've got to remember that any Whites who are lower class econimically deserve to be there because of all of the oppression that they've caused.
I wonder if Slumworld will have some teary-eyed dark-skinned children there, staring at the guilt-ridden Whites as they walk through the exhibits.. Maybe have a scruffy rat or two ready to send scurrying across the floor. For those who buy the higher-priced tickets, they can experience a bill collector or repo man coming to the home too.

In LA, we already have this established with easy freeway access. There are even two versions. Much like there is now Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure next to each other in Anaheim, we have the black area of South Central (and North Long Beach - excuse me, the LBC, and Compton) and the barrio section of the park with East Los Angeles (and Pacoima, North Hollywood, South Gate, Huntington Park, Montebello and the brown areas of South Central LA and Compton). LA is surrounded by these fascinating sites. Come one, come all. Bring your soda, cookies and kevlar. When I was in NY, I saw that Gotham also has its "theme parks" operating full tilt. You don't have to pay to get in, but you might pay with your life to get out, in any big city in America.

They should probably have audioanimatronic savages discussing what they are going to do to the white women after they shoot the white men. Maybe have a 40 oz. bottle of St. Ides, King Cobra or Colt .45 in their hands to boot.

I heard about this on the Colin Quinn show. They said that Slumland shows Americans really care, as long as their is a food court!
