It seems that our friends from Original Dissent are somewhat amused at our take on the Eric Rudolph arrest and the accusations levelled at him.

I wasn't trying to make an argument here. This is a libertarian board, and while I've taken advantage of the free speech policy here, I don't think that it is the place to argue white nationalism. We probably agree on many issues, disagree on others, and I will be happy to debate those issues with you on originaldissent, but I don't approve of you guys taking advantage of and trying to hijack this forum for the benefit of your political beliefs. Pretty low class, if you ask me.**
Strange. And from someone who is a pretty reasonable poster, as far as I know (not friendly to WN, but not overtly hostile, either).

The strangest thing is that that signals 180 degree turn from what I'd expect from him based on past private exchanges and his LF posting history. I am not going to reveal what he said several months ago to me in private, but suffice it to say that the current damian seems to be the brainwashed copy of his previous self a la Alex the Droog from A Clockwork Orange.
Well, we may have underestimated the power of libertarians to convert people into their religion :lol:

The thought of little ol' OD taking over the behemoth Liberty Forum is pretty funny. Perhaps our strength is overestimated by the power of our collective ideology. :)
But I should add that although I don't post over there, I do have an account I created at the personal invitation of John Deere from way back when.

VF, I guess that I was over-reacting a bit to that thread that you had posted, especially since I hadn't even read much of it. It's just that I hadn't visited LF in over a week, and when I started lurking there over the weekend, it seemed that your thread was by far the most active, to the point that it even appeared that it was monopolizing the forum. I mean whoa, that had to have been one of the longest threads ever. In any event, I didn't mean to give you guys a hard time, and I should have at least read the thread before commenting on it. I sometimes get a little too cavalier in making assertions when I've been drinking, which was the case last night.

Just so you and others know, I have told John Deere that I will leave his forum willingly if he ever says White Nationalist ideas are no longer welcome in his marketplace. So far, however, he hasn't said that, and I think that speaks well of him, especially in so far as JD is one of the more vehement anti-WNs on the forum (though I think his understanding of WN ideas is very superficial).

I don't mean to give the impression that I'm hostile to white nationalism - I'm not. I guess I'm more of a WN lite. :) I don't consider myself to be a libertarian either, but I agree with some of it. I sometimes tend to be a bit flippant with my posting at LF, don't read too much into my contrariness. ;)
