I don't know if any of y'all know anything about him, but this morning I had the misfortune of stumbling across the talk radio show of [url=http://www.glennbeck.com]Glenn Beck[/url].

It being the same Clear Channel station that airs Limbaugh and Hannity, I figured the guy was your standard run-of-the-mill neo-con. His take on Rudolph was not racial, but rather religious 'extremism.' He was doing everything he could to equate Rudolph, as a Christian extremist, with bin Laden/Islamic terrorists and Palestinian suicide-bombers.

With a bit more listening I gathered the guy was a Mormon and he said it was a Christian's duty to obey all the laws of government, no matter what. Needless to say I started getting nauseous and quickly put a CD in.

The real questions

Using a sophisticated remote control bomb to kill a cop is very strange. Up until know these anti abortionists have just been shooting jew doctors and using hardware store bombs on empty buildings.

John Eric Rudolph will be arraigned today in federal court, one day after he was taken to Birmingham to face trial in a 1998 women's clinic bombing that killed an off-duty police officer and critically wounded a nurse. There is evidence that Eric Rudolph is being taken to Birmingham, Alabama to be assassinated exactly the way Lee Harvey Oswald was assassinated in Dallas, Texas.

Not only has Rudolph been deprived of the bullet proof vest he was wearing when in public under North Carolina custody, but the officers transporting him are exposing him from head to toe to the shots of any assailant located within 200 yards. And is that a smile on their faces?

This exposure to possible assassination puts into stark relief the question that was raised by Attorney General John Ashcroft’s decision to try Rudolph in Birmingham, AL before he was tried for the much more numerous charges against him in Atlanta, Georgia.

Much speculation has circulated that a police establishment who believe Rudolph is responsible for killing one of their own are doing everything in their power to see that he never makes it to trial.

Authorities say Eric Rudolph waited outside the New Woman, All Women Health Care Clinic in Birmingham on January 29, 1998, and detonated the deadly bomb as he saw two people draw near the abortion butchertorium.

Robert Sanderson, a Birmingham police officer was killed in the bombing. He was moonlighting as a "clinic" security guard at the time of the blast.

If Eric Rudolph is, in fact, assassinated or dies under mysterious circumstances while he is in custody, it is not likely that his death will be ignored like the similar death of convicted abortion counter terrorist John Salvi was ignored in Boston on November 29, 1996. (Guards found his body under his bed with a plastic garbage bag tied around his head. The state medical examiner's office issued a preliminary report saying that the death was a suicide -- apparently caused by asphyxiation. He left no note, and was reported by jail officials to be alone in his cell overnight).

 I am partisan to dthe same Old America, paleo, and don't mind sayihg gthe people who post here are from, and represent, what that was, to me, who would up spending most of life in the North, protesting the Vietnam war for much the same reasons as this. Simply too many lies, so obvious. for so long. But I never fit in with the culture, so return to roots, which I do not wish to pison, or we have nothing.  But I've got o say this, not repeat it because this is possibly the only place it matters.

 In our Baptist churches and communities out Plainvew way, and Waco, through the '50's, neither of these got disxcussed at any length, and allowing for regional differences, think that to be largely true all over.   Neither came up in the libraries of philosophical theology I  scanned, not entirely superficially. I distinctly recall the morning service when we in the choir learned that "Ralph" has been busted in Dallas at a homosexual party!  It hadn't even been bandied about in high school!-- so I was essentially untainted attitude.  The revulsion, and human bewilderment at the kind of inferiority it represents --  excuse me Raimondo, I love guys too, but not that way, G-d!~ -- yes, one can still support correct positions, if gay -- that's one of those non-questions that emerged. Abortion, same thing.  Silence.  The only thing relating to sex I overheard dad and the men talk about, and I listened to a lot of early am extended breakfast farm talk at the cafe, was "satutory rape", which was over my head, and everybody was doing everything they wanted in dating since 8th grade, anyway, which, along with having three or four little shits running around the back porch trying to do everything the Old Man just the same, I regard as a God given right.  Then came Randall Terry, moping up post VIetnam war guilt for killing babies, destroyindg the lives of good men like ER by overhype.  Anybody who thinks their come belongs to the state, as for as I am concerned, belongs to the state, and that holds even if its inside someone else's womb, particularly if it has met a match. It more mine than ever.  The day I'll go out, and the way I want to do it, is when Ms Sloptwat from the local rescue operation comes bounding in that door to tell me how to dispose of wads of it that I produce for my own pleasure.  Let Rudolf do electronic Jews, I', for that.  But if you don't want to raise a kid, abort it. And kill whoever tries to stop you, including him.

Extremist Chatter Praises Eric Rudolph as "A Hero." Some Messages Call for Violence in His Name

New York, NY, June 3, 2003 … In the days since the arrest of domestic terrorist Eric Robert Rudolph in connection with a series of deadly bombing attacks, including the 1996 bombing at the Olympic Games, extremist chatter on the Internet has praised Rudolph as "a hero" and some followers of hate groups are calling for further acts of violence to be modeled after the bombings he is accused of committing.

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), which monitors extremism and reports its findings to law enforcement and the public, warned that the extremist chatter on Rudolph's arrest is "a dangerous mix" of twisted conspiracy theories about Jews and calls to violence.

"What some hatemongers and extremists are saying is, this person is a hero whose crusade against abortion and the government is noble and praiseworthy," said Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director. "What is even more troubling is that some of the chatter is calling for violence or lone-wolf acts to be carried out in Rudolph's name. Others are using the arrest as an excuse to spread twisted conspiracy theories about Jews. As we have seen in the past, this can be a dangerous mix."

Rudolph had connections from childhood to a number of anti-Semitic, racist and anti-government movements or groups, especially Christian Identity such as the North Carolina-based Northpoint Tactical Teams, founded by the now- deceased Nord Davis Jr., and the Missouri-based Church of Israel headed by Dan Gayman.

Extremist Chatter

Following are some examples of extremist Internet chatter that has been generated by the arrest of Eric Rudolph. These were reactions posted on Internet bulletin boards, Web sites and e-mail lists from May 31 - June 3 (emphasis added):

A posting on the Web site of the Pennsylvania faction of Aryan Nations, the Christian Identity neo-Nazi group, lamented that Rudolph was captured and called him a hero: "Let his enemies gloat, for their days are numbered. There will always be another to fill the shoes of a fallen hero. The enemy has not won and will NEVER win…"

A skinhead from Atlantic City lamented on a neo-Nazi message board that "another good solid white warrier becomes another prisoner of war! We need more lone wolves … WAY MORE!!!"

On a White Revolution message board, "He rid this world of some degenerate scum in a couple of his bombings and made the government spend millions of dollars finding him. That is all that really matters to me…One day all the lies, deceit and the purposeful destruction of the White Race will come back at them ten fold." One Christian Identity adherent, however, was more pessimistic, at least in the short term, predicting Rudolph's capture signaled the beginning of a round of government persecution. However, he said, "Fire tempers steel. The rubber, as they say, is about to meet the road…Let the end games begin."

A number of white supremacists were not so much concerned about Rudolph as about the attention that Rudolph's arrest was bringing to Christian Identity itself, especially by the "Jewish-controlled media." One post to a Christian Identity e-mail list claimed that "what we are currently witnessing in the controlled mass media is the demonization of anyone who dares to tell the truth about the fifth column government, the Zionist Lobby control of congress and the media, historical accuracy, the major and crucial differences between the races, including the Cainites, God's Law as contained in the Commandments, Statutes and Judgments, the federal reserve, 9-11 and anything else that is wrong with our Edomite [an Identity term for Jews] manipulated society…the message is clear. Shut up, or else!"

A post to the message forum for the white supremacist site Stormfront had similar opinions: "Jews make sure that ONLY those who go against THEIR interests are called Terrorists. Do you actually believe that jews [sic] are fair and honest when they do this? Why could they not have called Eric Rudolph a Freedom Fighter? That at least would not have been a derogotary [sic] term and is closer to the truth, in my opinion, assuming he has done any wrong at all."

A few people posting to extremist Internet message boards after news of Rudolph's arrest spread expressed hesitation at supporting him or even condemned the actions attributed to him. "Terrorism is simply not acceptable," said one poster to the Assault Web forum. However, others in the forum were of a different opinion. Referring to abortions, one poster wrote that "slaughter of the truly innocent demands a response" and if a response "causes 'terror' in those considering this evil act, I have no problem." The police officer killed in the Birmingham blast "earned his fate."

Nonsupporters of Rudolph were quickly taken to task in other forums. One doubter asked readers of Stormfront's message board how they could claim "the jew media" was lying about white supremacists "when they call us terrorists," when all one has to do "is come to this thread and see how this man has somehow become worshipped?" Another reader immediately disagreed. "Erich [sic] Rudolph is definitely a hero," he wrote. "There is nothing wrong with violence." If there were "more Erich [sic] Rudolphs, Timothy McVeighs, Benjamin Smiths and Buford Furrows in America, we'd have a much nicer place to live." Smith and Buford are two white supremacists who went on deadly shooting sprees in the Midwest and California in the summer of 1999.

The Web site of the Army of God, an extreme anti-abortion group, displayed a picture of Emily Lyons, a nurse severely injured in the Birmingham bombing, with the caption: "Babykilling Abortion Nurse Emily Lyons got a taste of her own medicine." "I have had Eric on my daily prayer list since that wondrous day in 1998 before a name was given to the bomber," wrote one supporter to the Army of God. "He will continue to stay there. I hope he escapes to defend children again." Another post said that what mattered was that he had "the lives of the innocent in mind." Referring to the nurse who was severely injured in the Birmingham blast, the poster, identifying herself only as "Deborah," asked: "How can she live with herself knowing that she helps to kill babies?...I am praying for Eric. They can't seek the death penalty against him, can they? Oh God in heaven, I hope not."

Many of Rudolph's most devoted supporters have been extreme anti-abortion activists; they portray him as someone with the courage to stop what they consider to be mass murder. "Please pray for warrior Eric Rudolph," wrote one poster to the Usenet news group alt.religion.end-times.prophecies shortly after news of Rudolph's arrest was announced, "that our Savior will protect him from this evil government."

I agree.

The Internet is something that allows other voices to do an end-run around the IP-controlled media, and the IP don't like it one little bit. That much is obvious.

Certainly some sort of attack is coming. I wonder what it will look like.

Not that I think it will be successful - I suspect that the Internet is the proverbial genie out of the bottle. It won't be easy to rein this thing in.

It will be a piece of cake to rein this thing in. All they have to do is kick a few doors in, lead off a few of us in cuffs as the neighborhood kids, heading to school, gawk in horror... a little monolithic media-coverage skewing every description of the 'detainees' with the same loaded verbiage as they reserve for terrorists, child-molestors, hate-groups, etc, all of it under the sanctifying aegis of Homeland Security & the Patriot Act.

It's, after all, one thing to admire or empathize with an Ernst Zundel, and a whole other thing to be Ernst Zundel. (And Zundel is one of the milder motes in the eye of the Judenstatus Quo.)

These guys, remember, are a lot smarter than the Nazis ever were. First, take complete control of the information flow...then, do what thou wilt. I've seen bigshot politicians and industrialists quail in apologetic fear because they dared utter "Jew" or "Negro" without prior approval. Juiced-in lifers, with more pull than we benighted few will ever have....so don't tell me they can never shut the Net down!

The technology what it is, I think their only hope is to somehow gain such control over the net that they can affect all aspects of your access. I don't think that will happen, and they will probably fall back on using the time tested techniques listed by Il Ragno. But I don't think that will do them as much good as it has in the past. They've been able to control things by controlling our "leaders" and the flow of info (by the flow of info). The internet has bypassed some "safeguards" so to speak, and the genie is out of the bottle. Other forces are conspiring against them as well, situations that they have created, like the brown sludge relentlessly oozing across our borders. This is backfiring along with so many other of the best laid plains set forth by the ultimate "over-reachers". Yes, we might even see some OD'ers doing the Zundel on the evening news. But it won't help all that much. Again, like Walter said, the genie is out of the bottle. And they will have more success stuffing toothpaste back into the tube barehanded than they will getting this genie back into the lamp.

Funny thing, though...at every point in the past few years when you'd figure 'this time, the dam will break'....it never does. I'm not entirely sure OSHA and the Pat Act aren't there purely to hone in on 'domestic terrorists' (meaning people who blow up federal buildings, question the Holocaust death totals or go on Internet forums to make fun of blacks and the white politicians who love them) anyway.

There've been dozens of occasions of recent vintage where you'd figure you'd find one canary with balls in the whole media coalmine to maybe utter the word "Jew" with somewhat less fearful fawning than usual.

Yet the day never comes! After the LA riots and OJ and Wichita and Colin Ferguson and Malvo & Muhammad and the other 700,000 violent crime news-items that only get read about on New Nation News, it's more of a hate crime than ever to utter a discouraging word about blacks beyond a timid "I'm personally against reparations".

But at least we got a pair of Jared Taylor DONAHUES outta the deal. We haven't even seen those milksop baby-steps taken against the Jews. Now sure...I've read five million outraged Jew op-eds that read "how DARE you use the word 'neoconservative' in my presence, you Hitler-lover!", but I've never turned on AM radio or cable tv and heard "Good evening. Tonight our topic is Zionist influence in the State Departmnent. Our guests are Edward Said, Patrick Buchanan, Gore Vidal and Daniel Pipes." NEVER. And I think the thumbscrews will tighten and Guantanamo's population will double before that day ever comes.

IR, I'm with you on your last sentence. Things are going to get a lot worse, simply because so much of the flow of info via the internet gets around the Hebraic Brita. The screws will tighten, and Guantanamo may well not be big enough to house the segment of the population that's going to experience first hand a taste of what that darn guy Solzhenitsyn was talking about.

Too many people are comfortable right now. I've said it a hundred times before, and I'll say it again. When enough of the white population finds itself in hardscrabble circumstances, things will tip. A lot of people don't agree, but I think it's inevitable. People need to be uncomfortable before they'll even ask questions. Especially white people. Folks like yourself and the rest of the crowd at OD are statistical anomalies at this point. Things get worse, there will be a lot more disgruntled and disbelieving folks. They may not have the grasp of the situation that you and others possess, but they will be pissed off, and that means they'll listen to "alternative" forms and types of solutions, never mind ask and listen to questions that would have been considered verboten earlier. It's history repeating itself in a way.

As to not much being said after fun filled situations like the LA "rebellion" of '92, things that were said were KO'd quickly by the rabbi behind the curtain. Less and less will this be the case. This is why we're seeing the FCC blow smoke while it hastens media consolidation. It will be harder and harder though to put a cap on questions and dissenting rhetoric when the masses feel they have nothing to lose, grab the torches and pitchforks, and start charging the Frankenstein castle. Things will get worse, then get really, really bad before they get better. But get better, become corrected, of that I have no doubt.

Au contraire, Ragno. I have heard nothing about this since I returned from London, but one man has said something without backing down: Tam Dalyell, Labour MP for Linlithgow and, as the longest serving MP, the father of the House of Commons.

They will keep trying, of course. Ruling by way of fear has always been a rather effective technique... but this time the current government has fear working in their favor from multiple angles. The sheeple are afraid of "terrorists" and "racists" but are also afraid of the government and what the government will do to dissidents who are seen as "dangerous". As long as they can keep people from thinking, they've got everything under control. Too bad for them that every day more people are discovering that the grey matter in their skulls is still functioning.
