I seek OD'ers suggestions on what book out there has the most complete, perhaps with photographs, rundown of the world's races. I've heard of a book called "Races of Man" but don't know who wrote it.

Carleton Coon's "Living Races of Man" Alfred Knopf, NY
Thoroughgoing study, many wonderful pictures.

I would recommend some books by Carleton Stevens Coon, namely
*The story of man,
The Origin of Races
The Living races of Man*
and finally,
The Races of Europe.
Most can be obtained from any large library of county library system. Be warned though, some of it is very heavy reading.
Excerpts from The Races of Europe are available online

Excerpts from Bertil Lundman's The Races and Peoples of Europe can be found HERE.
