Faith in everyone decreased except for the military. Plenty of pro-military "rah-rah go USA!" propaganda.
If our terror alert gets pushed up to code "red" the government has practically unlimited power in that area. Even in lesser states of alert, they are being given more power.
The stage is being set for martial law.
