Bush signed a bill allowing the government to go $984,000,000,000 into additional debt. I believe that's higher than the government's individual income tax revenue! This will allow the total debt to increase to 7.2 Trillion dollars. Who controls the government? Answer: Who benefits from deficit spending (not you and me who have to pay the interest on the federal debt and higher interest rates on our homes)?
In other news, the US dollar is at a record low againt the Euro and the dollar is also falling against Iraqi bills with Saddam's picture (seriously).
