Although Fordham did not want to comment on Ogbu's latest work, it is clear that her beliefs are almost exactly opposite from those of her former colleague. She believes school pressure to speak Standard English and "act white" is the very thing that makes black students fail. "What I found, the requirements in school compelled them to act in ways as if they weren't living in black bodies but who were essentially white or mainstream Americans," she says. "Kids found it difficult to deal with that and they found strategies to deal with it. They had to speak a certain variety of English in order to be successful. They had to buy into the ideas that dominate mainstream America. ... Black kids couldn't just be who they were." ** Oh fer cryinââ¬â¢ out loud!!! What a total IDIOT!!! (Black woman, no surprise...) The ââ¬Ëschools were pressuring black kidsââ¬â¢ to act in ways that might lead them to be successful in... er, um, MAINSTREAM America ââ¬â where the hell does she expect these black kids to live and work when they get out of school (IF they get out of school)!
This article makes it TOO TOO clear that America is going to hell! This guy found out some uncomfortable truth, and heââ¬â¢s being slurred for it (and I donââ¬â¢t think too highly of Ogbu, but heââ¬â¢s fershure learning some new stuff about going against the ââ¬Ëpartyââ¬â¢ line...

Oh yeah, all those Chicanos who are sneaking across the border are involuntary... They are being herded by... ?? What, cowboys?! (See, told yah I donââ¬â¢t think much of Ogbu..)

This part I totally agree with. It speaks to the core lie behind 'civil rights', 'race equality', 'affirmative action', etc......the well-meaning liberal dementia that everyone is a white person under a different coat of varnish. And that only by whites bending all the way backwards can we ever summon forth the White Man Within the black, the mestizo, the aborigine, etc. And this blind spot is a lie planted, nurtured and fed by the Christian mindset as much as the Jewish one, from the time of the first African & Asian missionairies.
If one rejects this belief (easily as racist as white supremacism, maybe even more so) then you're stuck with the grim reality that America has opened its arms to welcome racial and ethnic groups which can never become other than what they are, a handful of individuals within the respective groups notwithstanding. The same way that wigger in the baggy pants will inevitably turn 45 one day, turn on FOX News, and never change the channel again. (The wigger will have longer 'staying power' than the other race-fakers because the wigger is voluntarily choosing his delusion. The rest are merely walking through a door Whitey left open on purpose - they're playing along with the lie for reasons of social/economic gain. But they know they're not going to be turning white any day now if they can just maintain a B average.)
Maybe that's why we're in the mess we're in. Whites have gotten at least a brief look at what 'diversity' is truly bringing to America - and couldn't wait to put those blinders back on, and pretend that, but for educational opportunity and environment, Shameeka's just a white girl with freckles who needs to be coached out of being black.
