A lot of good stuff here - full mp3's, samples, and CDs of non-degenerate music. This is what I've been listening to lately - it's very refreshing.

Thanks for the link. I've been in a drought regarding finding new music. :punk:

The Nordic Roots collections (there are three) are sold really cheap at Borders, which is how I found out about them. I think the whole trio cost me less than one new CD usually goes for.

As a former associate of the Finnish singer Ellie Korhonnen, I am also very delighted that they've chosen to include Finnish music. Usually Finland drops through the cracks, which is a big no-no. Never underestimate the land of the Kalavela. Stalin did, and look where it got him.

Finnland usually drops through the cracks? That's a disgrace!

I spend a lot of my time searching for new music. When I find a band I like, there must be around a 50% chance they come from Finnland - for both metal and folk. Finnland is a fountain of good music.

Ever heard Amorphis? They are Finnish rock band that sings about Finnish mythology.
