RICHMOND, Va. -- Robert E. Lee's name is being removed from the uniforms of Boy Scouts in central Virginia, a change applauded by some black Virginians but criticized by a Civil War heritage group.
The Confederate general's name has been used to identify the Richmond-area Boy Scouts of America since 1942. The executive board of the Robert E. Lee Council voted last week to drop Lee's name from its title and logo, beginning sometime next year.
Local Scout executives plan to have a new name in place by June 2004.
"The suggestion box is open for any and all ideas," Scout executive Robert A. Tuggle said. He said removing Lee's name "was the right thing to do."
Board members "acknowledged Lee as an outstanding man, leader and influential person in our country's history," Tuggle said, "and changing the name ... has nothing to do with the character or opinions" of Lee.
King Salim Khalfani, a former Scout who is now Virginia director of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, believes the decision will boost minority recruitment for local Scout troops.

The silver lining in this gaseous cloud is that it's the sort of thing that enrages the Civil War buffs. These boys inwardly loathe the zhid-nigra controlled New South, but keep their mouths shut because of fear of the dreaded Racist Redneck label. Anything that knocks their asses off the fence is to the good.

This is a bad thing for the Boy Scouts to do. I mean in a few years being "Homophobe" will by as bad as being a "Racist." The Sodomite have been tying to invade the Boy Scouts for years now.
Homophobe- not wanting your son to be raped by Sodomites.
Racist- not wanting your daughter to raped by Negros.

If the Boy Scouts are going to be a haven for homos and negros, then I think Lee's name should be removed. To have his honorable name and character associated with perverts and animals is indeed an insult. I say start a new white boys' heritage group and call it after Lee instead.

Let us all pray that Mr. Tuggle eats sh*t and dies. The non-believing among us can simply hope that he does the latter. If the sucks among the "new Southerners" wise up a little that is a little comfort.

Hell what's a little revisionist history applied to the boy scouts? The PC crowd has already begun dismantling every other part of our American heritage. From the minutemen to the industrial, medical, and technological achievements of America. White Men had little or nothing to do with it, all was achieved on the backs of oppressed minorities.
