Same Planet, Different Worlds
A major Jewish group says this: "Israel is a colorblind society..." [the rest here: [url=http://www.adl.org/facts/default.asp]http://www.adl.org/facts/default.asp[/url] ].
Yet strangely, our own U.S. State Department says this about Israel:
"The legal system often hands out far stiffer punishments to non-Jewish persons than to Jewish citizens," and also, "The Government provides greater financial support to institutions in the Jewish sector to those in the non-Jewish sector, i.e., Muslim, Christian, and Druze." -- from report "U.S. Department of State, Israel and the Occupied Territories, Report on Human Rights Practices for 1997." Released by the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, January 30, 1998.
Question: when the Jewish people -- collectively -- insist that they are "morally superior" to non-Jews, what exactly do they mean?
