After reading this snippet from a New York Times report, I'd like you guys to ask yourselfs: what in hell would armed Iraqi civilian looters want with hospital beds and equipment?
Isn't this reminiscent of the big lie that Dubya's daddy got caught in after the first war against Iraq - that the Iraqi soldiers had stormed into Kuwati hospitals, and had dumped babies on the floor in order to loot their incubators???
So, according to the ZOMM, the resistance fighters in Iraq are only motivated by personal death-wishes, "cowards that they are"!!
Could the Zionists be right - that their Arab enemies are all religious fanatics and mad-men????

Allies Enter Mosul After Seeing Signs of Possible Surrender By Patrick E. Tyler
KUWAIT, Friday, April 11 ââ¬â Northern Iraq's oil capital, Kirkuk, fell on Thursday to a raucous army of Kurdish fighters who rolled into the city in pickup trucks, setting off new political tensions with Turkey, whose leaders oppose Kurdish dominion over the region's abundant resources.
Early this morning, Iraqi time, American forces were reportedly beginning to enter Mosul, the largest city in the north, after military officials said Iraqi commanders there were offering to surrender in exchange for amnesty and an end to bombing.
But across the rest of the country, steady battlefield gains by allied forces were giving way to increasing signs of civil strife: rampant looting in Baghdad and other cities, the assassination of a Shiite cleric inside the Ali Mosque in Najaf and serial revenge killings of Baath Party officials in Basra.
Baghdad on Thursday night was in a state of sullen calm after a day that witnessed one of the most intense gun battles since allied forces entered the capital ââ¬â a shootout near a mosque where Saddam Hussein and some of his top lieutenants may have been hiding. The euphoria of Wednesday had evaporated.
"Since the Saddam statue was toppled yesterday, two U.S. servicemen were killed and several dozen injured in firefights throughout Baghdad and around the country,"** Maj. Gen. Stanley McChrystal said at the Pentagon, setting the tone for Bush administration officials in trying to tamp down any expectation that the war was won.
There was ample evidence that this was so.
In eastern Iraq near the town of Kut, United States marines said they were facing a force of up to several thousand Islamic fighters from various Arab countries, possibly including members of Al Qaeda's terrorist network. "These are the kind of guys who want a one-way ticket to Allah," one officer said.
Tikrit, Mr. Hussein's ancestral home in north-central Iraq, was still in the hands of Hussein loyalists, including a force of Special Republican Guards that allied bombers were striking with increasing ferocity.
In Baghdad, a suicide bomber blew himself up at a Marine checkpoint, seriously wounding four marines, military officials said. Looters armed with guns stripped hospitals of beds and emergency equipment as medical workers coped with hundreds of civilians caught in the cross-fire between American troops and Hussein loyalists still holding broad stretches of the capital and its suburbs. The Seventh Marine Regiment was charged today with stopping the looting, effective immediately, The Associated Press reported.

kminta,
I think this has a lot to do with it.
