**Chilling Accusations Of A Jewish-Inspired War

VIEW FROM THE RIGHT**

Adam Sparks, Special to SF Gate Monday, April 7, 2003

In 1972, the Rev. Billy Graham, who had spiritually counseled nine American presidents, was secretly taped telling President Nixon hateful slurs about Jews. Following Nixon's reelection, Graham told him in the Oval Office that Jews had a "stranglehold" on the country and that Nixon, in his second term, "might be able to do something" about it. Unfortunately, too many Americans share that view.

A national poll of 1,000 American adults conducted last year by the Anti-Defamation League, a Jewish civil rights group, found that 17 percent of Americans -- about 35 million adults -- hold views about Jews that are "unquestionably anti-Semitic." The most popular claim is that "Jews hold too much power in the United States," a view shared not only by radical fringe groups on both the Right and the Left but also by many others in our society.

It is shared by liberal congressman like Rep. James Moran of Virginia, who, while speaking in front of a town-hall meeting of mostly peace activists, offered up this cogent political analysis: "If it were not for the strong support of the Jewish community for this war with Iraq, we would not be doing this. The leaders of the Jewish community are influential enough that they could change the direction of where this is going, and I think they should."

Sounds like a fair remark. The only problem is that it's wrong. Polls have shown that Jews, who overwhelming vote both Democratic and liberal, are slightly less likely to support the president on the war than Americans as a whole, and this is true despite strong Israeli support for Operation Iraqi Freedom.

In January, the American Jewish Committee released a poll claiming that a majority of American Jews -- 59 percent -- approve of U.S. military action against Iraq to remove Saddam Hussein from power. This figure is slightly less than that for Americans as a whole.

Although Senate Democratic leader Tom Daschle denounced Moran's comment, the representative has not had to give up any prestigious committee assignments. His punishment? Being forced to resign his leadership of the Democratic Party's mid-Atlantic region -- a fund-raising position. Yeah, it's a tough life for anti-Semites in the Democratic Party.

This was no solitary anti-Semitic outburst, either. At a speech last year at an American Muslim Council banquet, Moran said Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was coming to Washington and he was "probably seeking a warrant from President Bush to kill at will with weapons we have paid for." Gee, congressman, I guess we know which group paid for your lunch.

Michael Kinsley, the left-of-center editor of Slate, wrote a piece subtitled, "If You're Going to Be Jewish and Powerful, You Can't Whine When Someone Notices It."

Pat Buchanan, on the far, far right, writing in his book "A Republic, Not An Empire," denied that Adolf Hitler had any malicious intentions, least of all toward the Jews. He also argued that Hitler was forced into pursuing the Final Solution because of British and American intervention in the war. Now, that's a novel thought. In other words, Hitler was forced to kill millions of Jews and other undesirables.

Earlier, Buchanan had claimed, "There are only two groups that are beating the drums for war in the Middle East: the Israeli defense ministry and its amen corner in the United States." So, according to Buchanan and the rest of the anti-Semites, the world's only remaining superpower, the United States, is being manipulated by a country smaller than New Jersey.

But the big problem is when anti-Semitism goes mainstream, as when Tim Russert, on "Meet the Press," pressured Richard Perle, chairman of the Defense Policy Board, an advisory panel to the Pentagon, to assure us that he advocated an attack on Iraq in the interests of the United States and not those of some other power. And which other power might that be, Tim? Or when MSNBC journalist Ashleigh Banfield blamed the "Jewish lobby" for undue influence in Congress.

A group called Camera, which watches the media for anti-Semitism, has detailed a roster of culprits, and some of journalism's biggest names are included. But the biggest media anti-Semite is clearly National Public Radio (NPR), often called "National Palestinian Radio" by Jewish leaders for its sharp anti-Jewish and anti-Israeli bias. Camera has detailed a long list of flagrant instances of duplicity and treachery in its study of NPR's broadcasts.

Anti-Israel feelings, particularly heightened by the war of Iraqi liberation, are now triggering a new surge of anti-Semitism. For the first time, negative attitudes toward Israel and concern that American Jews have too much influence over U.S. Middle East policy are helping foster these beliefs. Slightly more than half of Americans (51 percent) said the United States has been tilting too much toward Israel, while three-quarters of the most anti-Semitic Americans said they felt this way. And who are the most anti-Jewish, anti-Israeli people in the United States? Surprisingly, it's the very minority groups that Jews have helped the most throughout the past few generations: blacks and Hispanics.

According to the survey by the ADL, 17 percent of all Americans hold strong anti-Semitic feelings. However, such sentiment is twice as strong among certain ethnic groups: The survey found that about one-third of Hispanics and one-third of African Americans are strongly critical of Jews.

Nurtured by the radical Left, seeds of hate and bigotry have been strewn across America's campuses. Pro-Palestinian activists, demanding that universities divest their stock portfolios of both Israeli companies and firms that do business with Israel, cleverly borrowed the idea from the anti-apartheid movement, which targeted South Africa, to link these two dissimilar causes and lend theirs the illusion of the honor and respectability of that important civil rights struggle.

Ironically, Jews have been at the forefront of the civil rights movement wherever they live. It was the Jews in Israel that brought democracy to the Middle East and finally gave Arabs the right to both vote and become involved in government, unlike the hapless Arabs who live in dictatorships in the surrounding nations. Moreover, Jews in the United States promoted civil rights in the South during Jim Crow days. So it's a cruel hoax that the Jewish state is now the subject of an ill-conceived campaign for divestment.

Divestment advocates gathered thousands of signatures from faculty, students and alumni at Harvard, MIT and 40 other universities nationwide -- 7,000 signatures were gathered at UC Berkeley alone. South Africa had a 5 percent white population that ruled over a predominantly black population. In Israel, everyone can vote, and everyone can participate in government fairly. Israel, which annexed the West Bank because of military necessity following an attack by several Arab countries in 1967, would like nothing more than to return these lands to a responsible authority and have the Palestinians govern themselves. Unfortunately, no responsible Palestinian governing body has surfaced.

In fact, in 2002, the United Nations, which includes 60 Islamic nations, passed 22 resolutions against Israel, which is amazing when you consider that only six other resolutions were passed against the rest of the world's countries combined. How could a tiny, multiracial, multiethnic democracy surrounded by repressive regimes be singled out as a villain worse than North Korea, Iraq or Sudan, the last of which still has slavery today? Good question.

The U.N.'s jihad against Israel is even more bizarre when you consider the fact that about a million Arab citizens in Israel can both vote and have a say in government; in fact, the Knesset, Israel's parliament, has Arab members, and many mayors of Israeli cities and towns are Arabs. Also, Israelis recently elected an openly gay man to their governing body, an impossible scenario in many neighboring countries, where gays are harassed, jailed or brutally executed. And, most important, Israel has freedom of religion and freedom of the press.

What are the fanatics really obsessed about? Where are the divestment campaigns for China, Russia or Zimbabwe? Is the Left's venom reserved only for Judeo-Christian countries?

About 15 million students attend 2,400 U.S. colleges and universities, and, according to the Institute of International Education (IIE), about 3,400 of them are Israelis. But more than 76,400 are from predominantly Muslim countries, according to an analysis of figures provided by the IIE. That large Muslim population, working together with an activist, radical Left on campuses nationwide, can really wreak havoc.

Some of the worst incidents occurred at San Francisco State University, where the inflammatory nature of the dissent was beyond the pale in last April's anti-Israel rally. According to the ADL, masked demonstrators hoisted posters showing the Star of David as equivalent to the Nazi swastika and bearing photos of soup cans reading "Made in Israel" and listing "Palestinian Children Meat" among the ingredients.

Israelis, and Jews in the United States, don't teach their children hatred of Arabs or anyone else. However, Arab children are clearly taught from preschool age on that Israel must be exterminated. Maps in Arab textbooks don't show the state of Israel, and this was true even before Israeli annexation of the West Bank. The hatred is taught often and early. It's both unfortunate and strange that the Left, which mounts campaigns for stiffer penalties for hate crimes in the United States, has joined arms with an anti-democratic, anti-progressive, hate-filled movement designed to exterminate Jews in Israel.

Although this article Centinel aptly displays stands in such stark self-refution it leaves one stunned and gapping, no comment needed, the following points have been brewing, and call for open statement, to recognize their very dark, treacherous, self-contradictory water treading.

  1. On Rep. Moran's statement: Adam Spartks article ignores its truth, just like all the media did, and splitsoff immediately to the perceived slur against "the Jewish community", as a whole, by linking them with pro-war/Israel influential ones. When the truth of Moran's (Buchanan's and OD forum's) claim is verified by themselves: Cf. "Iraq War Conceived by 25 Neoconservtives", above, OD forum topic; article by Avi Shavit in Ha'aretz quoting Tom Friedman.

-to go with Adam Sparks' article, also compare "Don't Blame This War On Jews," from USA Today, also above.

But this creates a certain jarring effect -- a jolt -- to compare the juxtaposition:

It is anti-Semitic to say the Jewish community has undue influence in government

and a prominent Jewish columnist asserting that to his knowledge

.. if a group of Jews had not pushed the agenda of war on Iraq concertedly, continuously and cunningly since l996, there would be none

This "jolt", I want to submit, is not just cognitive dissonance, nor ordinary run- of- the mill political dissembling. It is the jolt of coming across an actual psychosis taken as reality -- by those sharing this common ethnic identity, who have now taken the US and the entire globe out on their limb.

 2. On this point, and regarding their fall-back position, for when the worm turns (or: they are no longer on top, as some wag well put it)

    > **This is no longer an acdemic exercise, one of them says, we are responsible for what is happening.  The ideas we put forward are now affecting the lives of millions of people.  So there are moments when you're scared.  You say, Hell, we came to help, but maybe we made a mistake.**

Really. Now ain't that just too bad. One wonders whether any thought has been given by those who brought it on about how to rectify the problem. The problem could be called **IRAQ BLOW-BACK** , and it is a problem all Jews will have, here, which noone seems to be paying any attention to or dealing with. Unless this pathetic piece "special to SF GATE" is supposed to do the trick.

    3. The last quote was also from Adam Sparks article (Raimond's kissing cousin, I guess) -- they seem to have it in for us dumb Christian goobers, eating our Buchanan-Hitler bisquits with muddy-jalepano Chinese pork and dal, every day, until the next ... awaiting for William the Kristol to bring us news on how America's mission is progressing -- now that rebirth of freedom and democracy through Israel's munificence and US know-how which he predicted back in '96 is is beginning to be fulfilled -- that Higher Mission, as many believe.

Carrying that out depends on the Jews who have now sailed this ship into the perfect storm always hailing three/four things:

  a. 9/11 -- as the common blood-link they predicacte on as "We", in identifying America with Israel. (ignoring the fake letters blaming Iraq)
   b. Praise for the President: Bush's "character", "steely determination", "not a man you want to back into a corner" (ignoring the obvious instability of one whose existential hold on reality came within the last 15 years largely from a 12-step Bible rehab program -- not that there is anything wrong with these -- after an extended, undisciplined and pampered youth tending toward degeneracy.
   c. Hatred of Saddam Hussein, threats of perpetual terrorists dressed like anybody, but maybe Wahhabi infiltrators, El Al Quada converts to Pentalcostalism, or even left-over Viet Cong survivors from the Rambo era, never defeated, returned, you never know....

 d. the 4th is The War: the blood reality behind their talk sinks home. They intend to blame it back onto what they call "America", for letting them get away with it.

And in this, I am obliged to agree. Whoever has allowed their

"America" to be defined by these neecons, deserves them, to be wed to them, like Hedda Nussbaum to Joel Steinberg.

Good analysis, Wombatnine.

Note that both Buchanan and Moran talked about certain Jewish leaders - they most emphatically did not speak of Jewish Americans as a group. This article flagrantly and falsely conflates the two.

Sam Francis has a good idea in using the term "Likudnik." It gets at the Jewishness of many of the key proponents of our criminal foreign policy, but it contains the neat distinction between policy and ethnicity.

Yes, yes, we all know that there are many good Jews who disagree with the Israeli (Likudnik) oppression of the Palestinians and the illegal war on Iraq. We paleos have a number of them as important contributors to certain aspects of our own paleocon movement - including especially Israel Shahak (may his soul rest in peace), Paul Gottfried, Michael Levin, and others. But that's not the point. The point is that, as Kevin MacDonald points out, whites and Jews are locked in a Darwinian struggle that nobody wants or ever even fully understood.

No doubt the author of this article would list me as an anti-Semite, but I truly believe that nothing could be further from the truth. I respect and admire the Jewish people - but that doesn't blind me to the fact that Jews and whites have torn each other apart every since they were cursed with each other's presence. Jews and Europeans are bad for each other, and we need to separate. Jews need their state, we need ours. We'll call, we'll write, we'll read each other's books. We'll even visit each other on extended visits. But we can't live together. The Jewish Bolshevik genocide of the Christian Slavs and the German Nazi genocide of the Jews - both events within living memory - prove that point beyond all doubt.

The palpable rise in anti-Semitism that the author bemoans is the inevitable consequence of us attempting to share a territory. We need to accept the truth or we're condemned to suffer the whole thing again.

The author of this article equates recognition of these simple truths with mindless hate. He and the rest of us need to get over that fast or risk repeating a tragic past.

What you say about fundamental incompatability may be true, Walter. Just having kept track of what has happened since Bush, I am ready to support now, in America:

  I. An internal separation: cutting the umbilicus-cord between the two Testaments of the Bible, hard as this is for many to do.

  2. Constant hammering on what has been brought together and nailed down, right here on these boards -- footnoted with links throughout the internet, among other places -- because it is the contradiction they dreaded most, and cannot recover from.

  3. A call for arrests on charges of using US resources for foreign interests, arranged by deceit, carried out by trickery, leading to reversal of key policy principles ("pre-emption" doctrine of Krauthammer was/is pre-emptive ON US); open McCarthy-type inquiry to track down, activity, complicity, extent of the 5th column war profits; leading to trials, with punshment of execution; choice of avowing loyalty as America first as citizens, or deportation....

...and then hope that that is enough to prevent serious pogroms, here and abroad.

I'm sorry to say that I believe we have already lost the struggle.

We have lost it as surely as the Russians did starting around 1905 and it will be rapidly downhill from here.

Just like in Russia they are already the judges and executioners and to forestall any mutterings against them they are in the process of doing exactly what they did there.

Anti Semitism, otherwise known as valid criticism of their excesses, got you a bullet in the back of the neck courtesy of Felix Dherzinsky.

All legal of course.

Now we have hate Crime Laws.

See a pattern here?

The 97% of the population that is goy and schvartza must be bullied into silence just like in The Animal Farm.

Russian nationalists worship Stalin because they believe he delivered them from what almost became a fait accompli: a jewish state, not in Palestine, but in Russia. Face it, the jews were right there. They had seized control. They were truly the judges, executioners and lawmakers. The epithet "Zhid" got you shot yet anti Christian speech was constitutionally protected.

Stalin had to kill about 800,000 of them to wrest it back from their grasp.

It can't be done here constitutionally.

It will have to be done though.

I agree with your analysis, except that I think that not all hope is gone. Night is darkest just before the dawn, eric. This thing is possible.

The really good news about the Soviet experience for us is, as Yggdrasil pointed out, that the IP can be successfully maneuvered out of power. It was horrible and it cost millions of lives, but it can be done.

The interesting thing about the USSR - and the thing that seems to baffle our State Department - is that it all happened within the CPSU. They just can't get the fact that the CPSU of 1918 had as much in common with the CPSU of 1954 as the Democratic Party of 1954 had in common with the Democratic Party of 2003 - that is, only the name. The Democrats in 1954 were all about white southern power and white-lead northern unions - both groups have largely split for the GOP. The CPSU of 1918 was Jewish, by 1954 (on the heels of the Doctor's Plot) it was largely Russian and other ethnicities, Jews had been expelled from the Army and the KGB. This is the real meaning of Stalin's slogan "everything depends on the cadres." If you have Jewish party cadres, you get the program of 1918 including anti-Semitism as a thought crime. If you have Russian cadres, you get the Great Russian Nationalism program that won WWII. It's simple, but it's been intentionally obscured by our IP-lead poli-sci departments.

The IP is now, in my opinion, looking to jump from the Democratic Party to a new coalition with Dispensationalist Christians. It's one of those astonishing 180-turns for which the IP are justly famous (infamous?).

The wheel is very much in spin.

I think that we're looking at a coalition with the old Left, as discussed on other threads.

"Jewish-inspired" sounds funny. Wouldn't "Jew-inspired" be more natural? But can't use Jew as a predicate. (trying out a new smilie: )

By the way, Russian nationalists don't worship Stalin. National-Bolsheviks or similar movements do.

Tex, can we have an icon similar to :cowboy: but with a monkey face? That would be a smiley designating utter bewilderment a la monkey boy.

I am trying to follow WY's analysis, because it nails me right on the head, politically -- 1954 Democrat (drop-out after McGovern; don't like Nadir, never did; can't stand Chomsky, Hitchins, though they are useful idiots; can tolerate Vidal (genius, actually -- but its just as well that he lives abroad, and he's smart enough to know it), ....

....here's where I get stuck, and know its probably from my ignorance:

The interesting thing about the USSR -- is that it all happened within the CPSU...the CPSU of 1918 had as much in common with the CPSU of 1954 as the Democratic Party of l954 had in common with the Democratic Party of 2003 - that is, only the name....The CPSU of 1918 was Jewish, by l954...It was largely Russian and other ethnicitiesd, Jews had been expelled from the Army and the KGB."

I don't want to challenge this analysis in any respect, but try to work within it.

Prior to 1905, mentioned by eric von zippur, there had preceded the Marxist dissemination + Leninist organizational genius, plus a regime of increasingly out-of touch royal family, rising social problems, with peasant /worker awakenings to the fact that one doesn't have to put up with that majesteiral/patriarchial sh*t, as a way of life on earth, as dispensed by those living off their labor and good heartedness.

I think of it in sweeping historical terms as European enlightenment belatedly reaching Mother Russia. French influence through courtesians; Dostoivesky; Rasputin; my God .. whose soul could not relate to that period wouldn't have one. Now we are saying, I guess, that Stalin did what he had to do to effect a purge, for the spirit of native Muscovite Russians to emerge, kick out the Jews for good, and take over the situation on the basis of this man, "Karl Marx?"'s theory. (Did Josef Stalin read books?).

I don't know from CSPU (Communist Soviet Party ..?), but get the drift. In order for for it to develop, as a "socialist movement" with ties to worker's parties across Europe, from Lithuania to Spain, this inner core was split between A. Keeping ties with "Russia" (the "idea": way of being reproduced through the soul of those of its native soil); and B. Jewish influence (assumed here to be operating as a blood-communication sub-group across the continents), which tended toward:

Rationalism: not as an "ideology", but a philosophy. Reason, in the sense of inference from cause to effect, positing (but: only positing: incapable of demonstrating - cf. D. Hume) universal law.

Although belief in universal law could also be derived, philosophically, from the premise of "monotheism" (*I object to this term, as a bastard Salem-Athens pre-Christian construct, contrived by post-Christian rationalizers), in truth, such a derivation passes from the assumed-but-unknown premise ("Unmoved Mover", "Uncaused Cause" -- a concept reached at the limit of a regressive chain of causal reasoning, taken "vertically", as by J. Maritain) -- defining "faith" essentially in Greecian terms, as the voluntary, conscious affirmation of that transition (from universal causation to truth about nature by use of reason) -- as an explanatory hypothtesis, it is, in logical terms, "empty": lacking in deductive consequences. Morever, assumption that it is not -- that wiggle-room is left for miraculous interventions into Mr. God's created "nature", via spirits, demons, tea-leaf readers, necromancers in drag, weather-influencers, and psychic healers posting up on Liberty Forum calling upon the Lord God of Sharon, Krauthammer, Horowitz, -- can lead to false, indeed pernicious, conclusions -- and that this particular wiggle-room, intellectually speaking (reification of Reason under YHWH logic, via American politcs) has been used by neocon Jews, to merge with our heritage and tradition ...

This makes it very difficult not to agree with zip: their pre-emption of the very language of historical group discourse (WE are "anti-American"?; "..don't exist, you understand", for them? --they who have taken over the apparatus of mass communiations) may well take the situation beyond constitutional correction. If reason, itself, taken objectively in identifiable causes and affects according to laws, is corrupted by packaging Likudnik's millenial pretensions as faith in our God, it is not a mind set that appears ready, t present, to be dissuaded to work within constitutional means, itself. Therefore, by the law of action-reaction, ... ergo

So, if there is to be an alternative, let it appear now. (hey! I'm only 'bat9 -- but practicing to post up under **Elijah** when the old clapper rings again in Philly.)

I'm just saying, not to get too far off-thread: I do not wish to see Reason get purged, along with its abuse, by a politics that recognizes religious identity IN ANY WAY, in government. There are things about socialism, relating to a planned, vs unrestrained free-marked economy, which must not be dismissed as "Marxist", in over-reaction to pro-NAFTA/GLOBALIST-communistic-socialistic, whatever) purge. IMHO
