No Banned Weapons Yet Found In Iraq!

** General: No Banned Weapons Yet Found In Iraq

March 25

AS SAYLIYA CAMP, Qatar (Reuters) - U.S.-led forces have not yet found any evidence that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction, but experts are investigating a number of sites that have caused concern, a U.S. general said on Tuesday.

Asked at a news conference whether outlawed weapons had been discovered during the on-going invasion of Iraq, Maj. Gen. Victor Renuart said: "I can't give you confirmation of any reports at this point."

However, he said that as U.S. and British forces swept deeper into Iraq they were taking over places that have raised suspicions in the past.

"I will say that we continue to do site exploitations of a number of sites. As we move forward we uncover a number of sites that we may have been concerned about in the past," he said.

"I think as we get closer to Baghdad, we will see more of those sites that we will continue to exploit.

I don't think Saddam really has anything substantial as far as NBC weapons go, and if even he did, he certainly wouldn't use them after having repeatedly insisted to the world that he didn't have them. If he were to use them on US troops and cause massive casualties, it would vindicate the US in the eyes of the world and probably cause even more countries to send in troops to help the US.

Unfortunately, it is virtually guaranteed that chemical or biological weapons of some kind will be found in Iraq sooner or later. That's because the US or one of its allies will fabricate the evidence. The Bush administration knows that it would be intolerable for there to be no evidence of NBC weapons after all the dust settles. They probably already have a contingency plan in effect.

It was grimly amusing to hear that Fox morning show buffoon Steve Doocy grudgingly admit that it wasn't a poison factory after all. He sort of mumbled it, clearly frustrated. That was the one & only retraction I heard Fox make, after their 24-hour triumphant howl.

Fox as a whole is a sick joke, but I think that morning show just may be the worst of all. Doocy, Kilmeade and that loathsome hag Donahey make me wanna do an Elvis every time I see their stupid faces. The most puerile jew-lackeys in captivity.

Gee, no WMD's, no throngs of Iraqis celebrating their "liberation" , looks like the Zionists are fast running out of lies. Whenever I want to see how effective the neocon propaganda is on weak-minded White gentiles I listen to the Dr. Pat radio show on WGNU, and she's been reduced to ad hominem attacks and babbling about those suspect reports of terrorist training camps at Salman Pak. Satisfactory. From listening to the callers on C-SPAN and talk radio I think the only place the neos will find lasting support for this scheme will be the Whites who occupy the far left side of The Bell Curve.

Russia Slams U.S. on Iraq, Scorns 'Liberation' Claim

Wed March 26, 2003 06:28 AM ET

By Maria Golovnina MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia on Wednesday fired a new broadside against the United States over its military action against Iraq, scorning claims its troops were "liberating" Iraqis and accusing it of defying world opinion.

Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov, using language at times reminiscent of the Cold War rivalry with Washington, said: "What the United States is doing challenges not only Iraq, but the whole world."

Addressing parliament as U.S. and British forces pressed forward to Baghdad, Ivanov said the evidence so far gainsaid U.S. efforts to portray its troops as a liberating force freeing Iraqis from Saddam Hussein's rule.

"It is already becoming clear how far removed from reality are their attempts to present military action against Iraq as a triumphant march for the liberation of the Iraqi people with minimal casualties and destruction," he told the Federation Council (upper house).

And he counseled Washington and London not to make unsubstantiated claims to have found caches of banned weapons in Iraq to justify their military offensive.

"If there are claims by coalition forces about discovering weapons of mass destruction...only international inspectors can make a conclusive assessment of the origin of these weapons," he said. "No other evaluation and final conclusion can be accepted."
