When Iraq said two Apaches were downed, the Pentagon said it was a lie. Now that a video of one is circulating all over the world the Pentagon says, "one had mechanical failure."

The Pentagon also denied Iraq had POWs and when Iraq showed video the Pentagon declared, "Iraq admits it has POWs!"

This morning NYTIMES.com had a headline article stating that two Apaches were downed and 30 damaged primarily by Iraqi civillians who climbed on their rooftops and fired at them with small arms.

Now the NYTIMES.com has removed this article and replaced it with a different one towing the Pentagons line.

One of the downed Apaches landed upright and appears to have all it's hellfire rockets unfired. Iraqi television has been showing an elderly farmer who it's claims hit the helicopters fuselage with a lucky shot from a hunting rifle.

More Pentagon lies; We were told that the "strategic seaport" was captured on the first day of the war. This "strategic seaport" is a shanty town population 4,000 and is still the scene of stiff resistance! The Americans and British have dropped so many bombs and artillery that there is almost nothing left but rubble.

We were also told that two entire divisions of Iraqi surrendered on day two (or three). Each division has 8,000 men. Now it is coming out that only 2,000 Iraqis have surrendered so far and both divisions, the 11th and 51st are putting up stiff resistance.

Are Tomahawks are doing great. Two have landed in Turkey and Three in Iran. When we bombed Serbia one landed in Bulgaria just a few hundred yards from a Nuclear Power plant.

With the miniscule amount of Casualties being reported by the Pentagon and there Jew media hacks, you can bet that there is probably 4 or 5 actuall casualties for every one reported.

I have a bigger case to make. U.S. KIAs are being buried by American media. Earlier today an embedded reporter (Ken Kentleff) in a Marine unit in Nasariyah reported a stiff fight for a bridge. He said the U.S. had lost control and in the fighting to regain it today (03/24) 10 Marines have been killed and 40 wounded. This was reported on MSNBC with no follow-up. When Ken Kentleff's report replayed primetime on Dan Abrams there was static just at the point he started to mention that 10 Marines being killed and went away at the tail end of him saying "... wounded". I don't know how many people have picked this up, but it caught my attention because I found the initial report of 10 Marines killed fighting for a small-time bridge a bit shocking.

Less than a week into this and the facade is a-crumblin'.

The folks I meet are more confused than anything. Bush is creating a gold-plated opportunity for those of us who are trying to turn our folk's heads in the right direction. More, George, more! And hail to the New Yawk Slimes for making it all so easy, so obvious.

Funny thing is, lots of the guys I know can relate to that old Iraqi dude bringing the chopper down with a bear gun. Did Bush know he'd be building a bridge from Iraq to every American gun owner's heart?

I don't imagine he did, but I think the ribbon-cutting ceremony on that bridge will be the day he signs the renewal of the '94 "assault weapons" & regular capacity magazine ban.
