I think back to the specific pronouncements of people pushing this war, and things aren't so rosy. What gives?

Rush Limbaugh said: "Look, we'll roll up Iraq in under nine days...[with few American casualties.]"

Ken Adelmen: "I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't suffer any casualties."

Frank Gaffney: "We'll most likely suffer fewer casualties than we did in Afghanistan."
