I've been gently working on a male friend... sending him little snippets and hints and bits and pieces -- and, just after 9/11, a WILD and anguished RANT against the +)#%+%& jews and how THEY were involved!! He's an interested but not well-known (state) activist in telecommunications and politics,and was, long ago, a state-level journalist. He and I have talked about journalism for years...
This a.m. I sent him the following from Birdman's site. > ** In a testament to the powerful grip American Jews now have on the U.S. Congress, Nancy Pelosi, the Democratic Party Chief, has ousted Congressman James P. Moran Jr. of Virginia as Party Regional Whip even though Moran apologized profusely for saying that "the Jews are behind the war against Iraq." At first it appeared the Congressman Moran was showing extraordinary courage for daring to say what is now obvious to more and more Americans, however, when the Jews started twisting his balls, Moran kneeled down and asked for forgiveness.
The Jews are now pushing for his resignation from the U.S. Congress. In addition, six Jewish Democratic congresspersons as well as a Republican Jewish congressman from Moran's home state, Eric Cantor, are telling Moran not to run for re-election in 2004. Nancy Pelosi is from Northern California. Her mother is of Jewish descent but she converted to Catholicism in order to marry Pelosi's father. --La Voz de Aztlan ** And I added: (See, even the Mexicans get it!)
He wrote me back:
I've been following the Moran story, completely flummoxed. Tom Delay and his crew are trying to take serious advantage of this, to wrest Jewish voters from the automatic Demo column . . part of a campaign to unite fundamentalist Christians and fundamentalist Jews. I don't know how that plays into your theories about Mossad plotting 9/11, but I'm cautiously willing to listen to more . .
I am EXULTANT!!!! I have coaxed a straight-line, mainstream (quite Christian), and "rational" (self-described) American to actually open his eyes for just the tiniest peek!!! I shall now, of course, continue to tickle and entice and trickle information into his slowly opening mind!
Rejoice with me, oh, my awakened brothers and sisters -- only Y'ALL can understand the depth and breadth of my joy!

Heh, heh, hey -- that is great news.
Remember, it is not HOW MUCH stuff you send that guy, it is WHAT you send him.
Send him good stuff like KMacD, etc. And, [heh, heh] also use JEWISH sources! Much harder to counter...

Oh! Huh. I like Drakon LEAST of the four books! (Neo too, I just asked him.) Under the Yoke (second in sequence) is best, Stone Dogs, (third in sequence) second best, and Marching Through Georgia (first book) third best -- the 2nd and 3rd really work together to give you the whole picture! Keep reading Wintermute, you'll find ever more pleasure! And Marching Thr. really lays a solid foundation and introduces the 'cast.' I've read them, like, 3-4 times -- and just read them aloud to Neo (on our commutes). (All four are WONDERFUL though, as you've said!)
Oh, and Franco? Actually I'm sending him some of YOUR stuff too!! :D
