Always the first to issue the red-herring, "weisbrot."

I wonder how many here have noticed that. A subject comes up, and "weisbrot" renders it immediately off-track.

BTW: Sertorius and TexasDissident invited me to bring this to their attention, next time this (the off-track red-herring) occurs, on one of my threads, by you. Consider it done.

Now, back to the Government-employee-in-residence and (great) potential of a NeoCon drift of EtherZone.com...

off-track being off-track. Sertorius has picked up on this, and I've sent it, again, to his attention.

Now, whatever you have to say about EtherZone.com is welcomed. But ad-hominae and red-herrings ain't.

Deal with it. Or bugger off to another thread.

Music has similar worth in expressing what mere words cannot. Right now a particularly apt old tune is running through my head- Julie London's "Cry Me A River".

Right now we're approaching an Amazonian stage...

Now you say you're lonely You cry the whole night thorough Well, you can cry me a river, cry me a river I cried a river over you

My thoughts exactly, Tex. Spill the beans on your OD
salary, perks, and bennies. All those babes and fast cars must've come from somewhere.

"weisbrot"

You've already been told to keep the effluvia from off'a my threads.

Are you lacking the Moderators' input (private mail not reaching you)? Are you ignoring the Moderators? Are you mental-deficient? What's yr major malfunction, bro?

toddbrendanfahey

Tex:

It's your site. But your Moderator Sertorius has told "weisbrot" to stay the f*ck off'a my threads, unless he's something substantial & relevant to say on the matter.

You entrust Sertorius as a Moderator, which means you'll ask "weisbrot" to stay the f*ck off'a my threads, unless "weisbrot"'s got something substantial and relevant to say on any of mine threads.

...elsewise, you don't value "Sertorius"'s Moderator input.

Standard Aristotelian logic.

Get it?

Thx.

Naw. Just stay the f*ck from off'a my threads. That's all I ask for. (Unless you've something substantive to add...).

Todd, I don't want to rain on your parade, but I do detect a general pattern here of reacting strongly when people publically disagree with you and goad you in the process. This is what happened here and at EZ, in a certain sense. You want Weisbrot not to be allowed to post on your threads, and you wanted the Moderators not to be allowed to publically question your Paul/Tancredo ticket.

Now I'm not really taking a stand one way or the other way on the forum free speech business. There's an argument to be made either way. But what I don't see is how your free speech restriction principles are compatible with your advocacy of the Libertarian Ron Paul as the President of the United States and paleolibertarianism in general. You may say that political principles are different than internet forum principles, but its hard to be too convincing on this score. That's why a principled libertarian like John Deere recognizes the need to practice what he preaches on a libertarian forum.

I'm sure you've got a long paleolibertarian/ constitutionalist explanation somewhere worked out. I don't though - that's one of the reason I'm not a libertarian.

As the old saying goes, you can't make ice cream out of crap.

In other words, it's kind of difficult- and pointless- to try to polish a turd.

Try putting up something substantive, instead of getting all made up and turning the mirror my way. Although that part about "Todd Fahey dismissed" is kind of nifty, in a multifaceted kind of way.

Okiereddust:

No, I just want "Sertorius" to back up his Private Mail post to me. He said that if someone renders a post of mine off-track, that he'd take care of it.

If he doesn't care to, here, then he'll have not backed up his PM agreement w/ me. But I think his PM agreement w/ me is very fair.

When one posts something, it should stay on-topic. "weisbrot" has brought a couple of mine threads wholly off-topic.

Dig it?

Doesn't matter if you do or don't. You're not a Moderator here. "Sertorius" is, and he's given me his word on this matter.

All I'm asking for is consistency.

I've been chastised mightily by the Management, here, for 4-letter words, for instance. Now, if Moderators here don't keep their promise in Private Mail as to keeping a poster's thread on-track, there's no reason I can't use 4-letter words.

Get it?

Thot so.

"weisbrot":

The deal here is, that you weighed on at Post #2 of this thread w/ an ad-hominem that you've posted at at least two other threads.

Secondly, Sertorius and TexDiss have told you to keep respective posts on-track.

Now, what does it take for you to F*CK OFF?, as concerns your own personal animosity towards me, in absence of substantive retort?

You're incredibly dense. (Actually, you're incredibly persistent, and the Moderators here are equally as slow to enforce their own stated policies.) So, "weisbrot," again, to you, as per OD policy: Offa my threads, dickhole (something "Sertorius" told me not to say, but if he's not backing up his policies, then screw him....)

Or: OD Mods: Please do your job. Keep threads on-track. It ain't that difficult.

Best, TBF

I was wrong. Didn't know that you'd been appointed Mod-status here.

That makes your duty binding, ho ho... (pls. confer w/ Sertorius, and, then, keep "weisbrot" from off'a my threads, unless he's on-topic).

Thanks,

TBF

In the interest of avoiding any perception of personal animosity, would you please specify that ad-hominem along with the correct locations of all three occurences?

Surely we can clear up any misunderstandings without rancor, ToddMonster. Thanks.

Hi, Asshole!

As soon as you've divulged, in print, your life's sins, I'll also be free to link to them. Until then, I'll just say:

Hi, Asshole! (and the Mods of OD won't have nuthin' to say about it, as per their own Private Mail to me).

Their loss; our gain.

In order to save precious topical bandwidth, let's just list them all under Romans 3:23. Plenty of links. I really haven't had the time, interest or inclination to boast about them openly on the web. My apologies.

Now, about those ad hominems you were protesting...

toddbrendanfahey

Romans 3:23

That's fine, as per The Lord, but not for this site (unless TexasDissident proclaims to operate directly "under the influence," as it were...).

So, you've still got to answer to the Moderators, here. Sertorius told me that he'd keep you on-topic. You've not been (on-topic); but, also, I haven't seen Sertorius at this forum in the past 24 hrs.

As soon as Sertorius comes back, you'll be on-topic. Or else he'll be lifted from his Moderator duties. Or else OD is a fraud.

It's pretty simple (Aristotelian logic).

Best, TBF

Well, this is lovely as hell.

Im gone for a couple of days here and come back and see this crap. Weisbrot has been told to stay on topic. At the same time, it appears that Todd has become the topic here. Thats okay, I can solve the problem with this thread.

Beware the Ides of March!
