The all-caps, slur-ridden, violence-implying screen name of our newest member sets off all kinds of alarm bells. He must be some kind of joke from the ADL or FR. Even if sincere, the person who signed up with that name has poor judgement, and can't be of any real assistance or benefit to those working for the restoration of an America for Americans. Recommend deletion/banning of that account.

Thanks for the alert, PA. Our newest member agreed to the name change and we'll see how it goes on the board.

What can I say? He caught me in a good mood. I'll probably pay for it later.

TexDissident:

How 'bout "weisbrot," and his abrogation of yrs and Sertorious's agreement, in re: keeping posts on-track?

Did "weisbrot" catch you in a good mood, too? :)

(& I'll assume that if "weisbrot" can get away w/ the stuff he pulled tonight, any 4-letter words I ever post here will go unacknowledged. Right? Etc.)

Is there a full moon today or something? Perhaps wintermute can chime in with any signifcant solstice info.

Todd,

Por que estas quebrando nuestros cojones?

I don't see any posts by weisbrot on your EZ thread at all, so there's no evidence of getting off track as far as I can see.

And FYI, I frown much more highly on profanity and scatalogical coarseness than I do "off track" replies.

In re trolls:

Sentry Over America registered here a few days ago. He was implicated in the EZ nastiness. And then there's the mysterious Suplanter. Also there's one [can't recall his name] who keeps demanding that the war must start immediately. He sounds suspicious. The Hammer may bear watching, too.

Beware of assault, infiltration and attempt at usurpation by neo-con nerds.

Texas Dissident,

Could you do something about "JOHN WAYNE GACY" Could you make agree to the name change or delete his account.

Faust,

There is no member here by that name. There is, however, a member named John Wayne.

I know people who feel strongly about an issue can get carried away by their emotions, but nothing excuses all-caps.

 All-caps are an abomination. The thing is, though, I always try to avoid using all-caps, personally. Text that is written in all-caps is harder to read, since the reader's brain has to work harder to process each individual letter. The all-caps renders every letter identical in terms of their height and outline, so you lose the little "peaks and valleys" (like the way the "p" dips down, etc.) that help the brain process letters. All-caps tire out the reader, and ironically can make the reader less receptive to your message. You probably knew all this already, but I just wanted to comment on a principle I really do keep in mind when I write.

Beg your pardon Tex, but I do remember associating John Wayne, who signs his name John Wayne G, with the name John Wayne Gacey at one time. Something seems to have happened to the originating thread, but it seemed like there was a good reason at the time.

Aw ... I was just digging up the old Mean Machine thread the other day ... and there you were, posting from the Last Poets.

Nice to see you too.

Still haven't quite got the hang of navigating the place but will definitely be around.

All the best to you and yours.
