** Abortion doctor under fire
Abortion doctor rearrested Valley abortion doctor Brian Finkel was arrested Tuesday morning at his Phoenix home on new charges that he molested patients. Authorities now accuse him of sexually abusing 35 victims at his clinic.**
I read about this "Dr. Finkel" guy in my fiance's "Glamour" magazine. He was hailed by Howard Stern as a "hero" and an hour was devoted to him on Stern's program. The article alleges that he sexually fondled sedated women before, during and after removing the contents of their uteruses. How sick can you get?
Finkel seemed to thrive in this contentious atmosphere. He relished debating pro-lifers on local and national television and was proud that in 1995 his photo ran in the New York Times accompanying an article about malpractice suits against suits filed against abortion doctors by pro-lifers. In June 2000, radio shock jock Howard Stern devoted over an hour to Finkel. "He's brave; imagine putting your life on the line," Stern exclaimed before offering to throw a parade for him in the streets of New York City.

Finkel, whose pager messager identified him as "the prince of the pelvis, the disciple of Elvis," was known for being flippant, even vulgar. "You're expecting Marcus Welby" says Finkel's lawyer, Richard Gierloff,"but you're getting Rodney Dangerfield."

An abortion 'doctor' being arrested for sexual abuse? But they're usually such moral, upstanding people! What's this world coming to when you have to worry that the hitman you hired to kill your unwanted child might (gasp!) inappropriately touch you while he's in there?
