Feminist writer and educator bell hooks told an appreciative audience of about 600 at Smith College Tuesday afternoon that "white supremacy thinking" can be ended by confronting racism and acting on beliefs of equality.
She received a standing ovation at J.M. Greene Hall after stressing the need to close the "gap between the state of commitment to end racism and the actions taken to overcome it."
She said that many people who want racism to end pretend that white supremacy does not exist.
"Most people are downright fearful of talking about these issues in public or with strangers," she said.
But more is needed than the common idea that "if we could just change the way people think, we can change the way they act," hooks said.
Black males are becoming the most illiterate group in the country, she said. She said she believes the nation can one day realize the loving community Martin Luther King Jr. imagined.

I got about halfway through Killing Rage, the book in which hooks fantasized about killing a white man. If holding a worldview completely at odds with observable and verifiable fact is insane, that was an insane book. She really seemed to think that interracial violence was something whites did to blacks, and that the reverse was a rare aberration.

They're dumb, that's all. They're the most illiterate because they're dumber than others. It's not white supremacy or racism or anything outside the gray matter of black people - it's the genetically-determined wiring of the African brain.
Heck, I'd never hold that against a guy. Just being born dumb doesn't make you wicked.
What I can't abide is all this denial of the simple fact that their mean IQ = 85.
As the authors of "The Bell Curve" predicted, there will be a massive overreaction against all of this. People will suddenly wake up and realize that all this talk of institutional racism was an exercise in denial of the most basic and obvious truths, and then they'll swimg way far the other way.
Poor blacks. I fear that the Jews are about to abandon them and make common cause with the Christian Dispensationalists.

At the rate they're going, this overreaction is going to take another twenty-five years to get rolling. By then New England will look like South Africa does now -- and they'll be the lucky ones.
But I can try to be an optimist too. :huh:

Indeed. My point was only that blacks have never been a particularly literate group, so to say that they're 'becoming' illiterate is like saying Israel is 'becoming' parasitical.

Quite possibly. The jews have never had a better ally than their deluded Christian following. They (as a group) hate Christianity, create and maintain the movements that run counter to everything the Church is supposed to stand for, and get declared "God's Chosen People" in the process. What a deal! I guess the real danger there is if Christians actually start reading their 'Good Book'...

Hell, everyone knows the blacks are dumb. I wonder just how dumb the mestizos are. Their SAT scores here in CA are lower than the blacks, and their dropout rates are higher. They're overtaking the blacks, not so slowly but surely in almost every criminal catagory - and it's not only due to their numbers, it's their RATES of offense that are striking. The coming backlash can only be helped along by ANOTHER group of violent, lowbrow, non-whites.

I guess I am a bit of a pollyana sometimes.
I do believe in the power of positive thinking, however.
And heaven knows there's just a fine line dividing hope from despair for us WN's. But nobody likes a depressive - you win more converts with conviviality than morosity.
This change in public mood against blacks will happen, I think. You see it now. Jews are really thinking about abandoning blacks because they're incessant demands compete with their War on Israel's enemies, both directly and indirectly. Directly because blacks anomic failure costs the government big in terms of jails, schools, affirmative action programs, and now increasing demands for slavery reparations - money that could have gone to the military. Indirectly because affirmative action and in general promoting the less-qualified are a drag on the economy - money that wasn't generated that could have gone to the military.
As Jews begin to switch sides en masse (away from their traditional coalition of blacks, browns, homosexuals, white women who want free abortions and other parasitic groups), the media will find more and more reasons to "call a spade a spade" (pun intended). The "Bell Curve" is ready-made for the job. Heck, it was written by two Tribesmen.
So smile, Ragnar. We'll win. Of course this will probably be after a major war, pestilence and general devastation, but what the heck!
