Gentlemen, the time is nigh in our land. When "conservatives" like O'Reilly acknowledge that there really are "tough times" and we must "keep our wits about us" I get very nervous. Nonetheless, O'Reilly never fails to get under my skin with his shrilling diatribes.
Tough Times for the USA
Friday, February 07, 2003 By Bill O'Reilly
With war approaching and the economy tottering, things have been better in the land of the free. And now is the time for all of us to keep our wits about us and see things clearly. Indications are, that's happening.
According to an ABC news/Washington Post poll, 71 percent of Americans who bother to find out about Colin Powell's U.N. speech feel he made a convincing case for war. (yea, right)
Of course, overseas, nothing the USA could say would change the minds of the French, Germans and Chinese, who want bad things to happen to us. (never light on the smears, huh Bill. Smearing entire countries is a common tactic amongst "experts" like you)
But here in America, the folks have decided that after Sept 11 we cannot allow an anti-American madman, Saddam, to play hide and seek with anthrax and other weapons. Clear-thinking Americans have always been the strength of this country. And once again, that has been demonstrated by the poll.
The dissenting 30 percent are an interesting group. As Talking Points has pointed out, some of them simply hate their country and/or President Bush. (scare 'em into lock-step, Bill, why dont'cha!)
But some war dissenters are sincere. I got an interesting letter from a Mr. Jeffords, who lives in San Francisco. He says:
"Before we support dropping bombs in the Middle East, perhaps we should take a look at U.S. cultural and military imperialism which has created great animosity towards our great nation. Bill, I ask you: How would you feel about the USA if you were an Arab? We've got bases all over the Middle East. Do you believe that we are there as protectors?"
Well, OK, Mr. Jeffords, let's walk through it. I realize the left wing Web sites are pounding the oil drum, propagandizing that we're going to war to get oil.
The truth is that we're going to war to maintain stability in the world. If a madman like Saddam used deadly weapons to get control of the Gulf oil flow, the entire world would be at his mercy.
The United States now drives the world economy. If this country goes down the tubes business-wise, the whole world suffers. We make, buy and donate most of the world's goods. So any intrusion on our security is bad for the whole world and many resent that.
If the United States was an imperialist power, we would have done what the Soviets did after World War II, enslave countries. Instead, we rebuilt Japan and Germany and most of Europe, allowing millions to live in freedom at our expense.
Now, I'm getting real tired of ignorant Americans blasting their country when they're clueless about history and geopolitics. Many of the loudest voices of dissent are also the dumbest voices. Oh Bill, stop it, you've got millions of lemmings blindly following you, what'dya care about us? You're such the history expert? You want us to just listen to your version of semitically correct histroy, and go to sleep!
The truth is that America must now protect itself against fanatics who hate freedom and knowledge. And we must protect the world without the help of cowardly countries like France and Germany, and opportunistic countries like China and Russia.
The task is almost impossible, but if anyone can do it, we can.
And that's the memo.

Chief inspector Blix has basically called Colon Powell and Bush liars. He says they go anywere they want went they want, that there are no Iraqi spies among them, that Iraq isn't removing stuff from buildings before they show up, that they've inspected some alleged mobile bio/chem labs and found nothing.
We're going to bomb Iraq to disarm them? How do you do that when you don't know where any WMDs are? Obviously, this has nothing to do with disarming Iraq and is about overthrowing Saddam, for whatever reasons.

France & Germany are 'cowardly'; Saddam Hussein referred to, repeatedly, as a 'madman'.
"Clear-thinking Americans have always been the strength of this country. And once again, that has been demonstrated by the poll." Think about that statement for a second.
The only truth to sully O'Reilly's memo is the following:
"The truth is that America must now protect itself against fanatics who hate freedom and knowledge."
Damn skippy. Both the Jews who hate freedom, and the spineless Ed MacMahon goyishe watercarriers they reward with cash and celebrity status who wouldn't recognize Knowledge if it was biting their backsides, unless some Jew gave them the all-clear to acknowledge the teeth marks. But they're so far in front, their triumph so near-total, their poison so prevalent in the nation's bloodstream, that any disaster that befalls us is deserved.
Indeed, we will never be free of our parasites without a catastrophe to first distract our keepers' watchful gaze.

Happy Hacker, correct. This has nothing to do with disarming Iraq and killing the "Madman of Bagdhad" for world security and Shrill O'Reilly damn well knows it. Comrade O'Reilly has his orders from the Cabalists, and he cares not-a-thing for ordinary Americans. Strip it down: This war is for nothing less than exterminating Arabs in order for the Zionist Jews and Zionut Christians to attain the coming of their respective "messiahs". And they're gonna drag every one of us to Hell in the process. Goodbye America.

Bill O'Reilly was a former tabloid television host. Since when are we supposed to look to this man as a credible source of information and commentary, let alone a credible source??

Bill Unruly spent much of his career reporting on who-did-who-to-gain-what and similiar utterly inconsequential bunk. Today he is a recognized voice of reason and a self-styled news analyst at the FAUX NEWS CHANNEL. His kosher handlers- Amy Sohnen, Peter Zorich, David Lewis, Don Cohen, Shanna Goldner and Nate Fredman- thought it was a brilliant idea to try and offer " regular folks " a say-what-you-really-think crude Irishman as a fresh alternative to the dogmatically marxist CNN. All with the aim to insure that this time the Tribe's agenda is rammed down the collective throat of conservative America. Well, didn't the trick work ? I especaiily enjoy his use of the " clear thinking Americans " default setting with its inescapable Hebraic stamp. And how that rhymes with the bolshevik those-who-aren't-with-us-are-against-us slogan. Didn't David Frum slip its recycled version to GWB ? I guess some things will never change, will they ?

Mr. O'Reilly:
So, 71% of people say that Colin Powell made a compelling case vs. Iraq. Roughly the same percentage advocate closing the borders and cutting down on immigraiton. Yet where is the action there?
Japan has the world's 2nd biggest economy at $4.5T. They have peace, stability, and technology. Yet they are not worried about Saddam and don't plan on getting involved in "world peace" What is your theory on the Japanese?

TThe japs have some of the lowest education spending vs. the western world. Yet, Japs have the highest literacy rate in the world and their students stomp all over American students in international comparisons.
They don't allow immigration (not even of fellow yellows, let alone others), they don't spend a ton on the military, and they do have peace and stability. Granted, their economy isn't chugging along well right now but it wasn't that long ago that we were worried about their economy out muscling ours.
Japan doesn't seem to have an interest in trying to control the whole world vs. those countries that are backing or refusing to back support for a war on Iraq.

I meant to highlight this before. Bill admits here that he's lurking onto leftie websites, so it's only obvious that he would lurk onto paleo or right wing websites to find information. I usually check in on O'Reilly because he's such a huge news man and a Virtual Lemming God leading people astray day by day. You know, "know thy enemy" stuff. I have discussions with people at work, family, friends, the guy in the store, and sometimes I think I'm hearing an O'Reilly playback verbatim.
As for the Japanese, they are not multicultural therefore they'll be able to handle their problems way more successfully than the United States of Stew.

The Japanese have the Americans to protect them. That certainly helps. Of course, not having mass 3rd world immigration helps rather a lot as well. Also, the Japanese are what the left likes to call 'racists': they are inspired to work and create because they care about their race and its flourishing.

But I find it strange that with madmen like Saddam and Osama and Kim Jong (their own neighbor) running wild, the Japs aren't scared.
Why is that? Oh, that's right. They haven't pissed anyone off with their imperialism and rabid monetary/military support for Islamic enemies.
Must be, the Mohammedans don't hate Japan for it's freedom.

The cynic in me always felt that the eagerness of the shabbos goy crowd-George Will, Fred Barnes, Bill Bennett, Jack Kemp, Andrew Sullivan-was directly tied to the intensity of the stream of schekels pouring their way. After all, these people've got to make Lexus payments on time, have they not ? BTW, it's been a while since I've seen Andrew Sullivan and " slobbering " used in the same sentence :P .

I used to watch O'Reilly, but find I don't really understand him anymore.
He holds several authentic-conservative positions: he's long railed against the mexivasion (in nicer terms of course), holds Hollywood responsible for its ill effects on America, even thinks Ariel Sharon basically just wants to kill Arabs.
But at the same time, he believes (or pretends to believe) all this BS about Iraq being a threat, supports our huge economic and military support to Israel, and has been banging the war drums and smearing/insulting honest opposition more than almost anyone.
So I'm left wondering if he's a shill for the shinies, or an honest man being fed bad information by his mostly-jewish research department, or if he knows better and tows the zionist line out of pragmatism.
If he would confine himself to domestic policy, most of us would probably consider him, if not an ally, at least a useful idiot.

They NEVER point out that if we hadn't DESTROYED (or, rather, been carefully led to destroy! <_< ) "Japan and Germany and most of Europe," we wouldn't have had to rebuild them!! If we'd LET Hitler contain the commie problem (and then they couldn't have enslaved any little countries) and LET Japan have as big a chunk of China as they wanted (too bad for the Chinese... NOT our problem!), we COULD have spent all our money and young American lives on AMERICA!

I wonder if he thinks the Pope is dumb.
On that topic, in many Catholic circles O'Reilly is dubbed "condom Bill" for his promotion of condoms as a public health measure. He's just another phony Catholic making hay for his 15 minutes of fame.
