Here is a letter that was posted to one of my lists by a black man that states the real reason that Zimbabwe is starving. Also he points out that six other nations in the region are also under famine conditions and get no media attention. Also note how this guy blames the famine there not on land redistribution but on a conspiracy by Britain, The US, and The EU to destroy the economy of Zimbabwe. Like most blacks, he blames his failures on the whites!

Dear Marilyn
I liked your one-liner dripping with sarcasm. I find that your "6 million people are starving" is the lowest estimate to date. Others are quoting 8 million and 13 million. So you see the problem when people resort to lying just to give somebody a bad name and hang him.
I am just back from Zimbabwe. Yes, there is famine and economic difficulties. But the famine - induced by two years of drought - is not only in Zimbabwe. It has affected 7 SADC countries. Why people over here don't want to talk about the other 6 countries hit by the famine ( - and how many millions are starving there or being starved there by their presidents), shows the sinister agenda the British and their allies are pushing.
Yes, maize, the chief staple of Zimbabwe, is in short supply. And I saw people queuing for bread in certain parts of Harare (not all) and other towns. But I saw in the supermarkets rice, potatoes, various kinds of fruits, vegetables, meat, etc, freely available for purchase. Of course, you know that in Zimbabwe, like the other Southern African countries, the people don't normally like to eat rice or they eat it with reservation. It is maize (or Sadza) or starving. That is the problem. This is the context that British reports don't want to acknowledge - because of their own sinister agenda. How on earth can anybody "starve 13 million people to death" as the British are claiming when the UN World Food Programme and a myriad of NGOS (foreign and local) are distributing maize and other food in Zimbabwe. And Mugabe doesn't control these agencies/NGOs or their activities. Have you asked yourself this question?: What are the NGOS and the WFPs doing in Zimbabwe then? Dancing rhumba while Mugabe starves 13 million people to death?
And very important: The economic situation in Zimbabwe is deteriorating not because of land redistribution, it is because Britain, America, EU and their allies have imposed unannounced economic sanctions on Zimbabwe, and are deliberating working to sabotage the economy. While in Harare recently, I discovered (not entirely to my surprise though because I know that is what the Western countries do, they did it in Ghana under Nkrumah), that all the international credit lines of Zimbabwe have been cut or blocked by Britain & Co, the same countries making the most noise about how much they "love" Zimbabweans and democracy there!! That is why the economic situation is deteriorating.
Remember that most African countries (including Zimbabwe) rely on "internatioinal credit lines" to run their economies. In my native Ghana, our president has just been talking about 60% of the budget being financed this way; in Uganda it is 65%. If the finance for 60% of Zimbabwe's budget has been blocked or cut by Britain & Co, are you surprised that the economy is deteriorating and "6 million people are starving"? The dishonesty must stop! And please don't send me one-liners without discussing the wider context and the shenanagans going on.
My regards

Of course, blacks killing and driving away the white farmers has nothing to do with hunger in Zimbabwe. It's the drought. I've seen leftists blame the drought on whites. Whites create Global Warming and Global Warming is causing the drought (actually, Global Warming would create more rain). Bottom line, we know not to blame blacks for anything they do... blacks are too stupid to be responsible for anything. Right?

The real interesting fact in this letter is that there are kinds of food in the stores available for purchase, but the blacks only want maize. It is maize or starving, so they choose to starve. If there was a real drought, there wouldn't be all kinds of produce in the stores for sale.

I know next to nothing about Africaââ¬â¢s economies but if the ââ¬Åinternational credit lineââ¬Â figures are even remotely close to being factual (I assume that some harmonica is being played), a revision in the speed of Africaââ¬â¢s population demise following a halt in credit seems appropriate. It is outright criminal negligence on part of those who played a role in setting up a relationship of dependence that can only end in a true Holocaust, in less than a generation, anytime the donor party has second thoughts or its citizens, for whatever reason, cease filing income taxes. This situation is one of total dependence combined with perpetual slavery of whites with guilt usurping the role normally played by a whip. For the love of humanity, I say again: tens of millions now or hundreds of millions at some future date ââ¬â whenever misery hits Whitey or when his own flame is extinguished. :(

The great rumbling sound now being heard throughout the world is Booker T. Washington rolling around in his grave. Where are the great agricultural advisers from Israel? If requested, perhaps some Greeks will show them how to distill hemlock to lessen the agony.
