Sobran is right. Your precious vote means nothing except to establish a paper-trail for the IRS and OHS and guarantee you jury duty at the most inconvenient possible time. Don't do it.*

STAMFORD, Conn. (Jan. 13) - Sen. Joseph Lieberman jumped into the 2004 race for president Monday, criticizing President Bush while promising to ''talk straight to the American people'' and show them he is ''a different kind of Democrat.''

Lieberman, who could become the nation's first Jewish president, told students at his old high school that during the Bush campaign two years ago, ''we were promised a better America, but that promise has not been kept.''

He also reminded them that he and Al Gore won the popular vote in 2000 when he was Gore's vice presidential running mate.

''I am also proud to say, in that election, as you may remember, that Al and I got a half million more votes than our opponents, and we actually got more votes than any Democratic ticket in the history of the United States,'' Lieberman said.

At the White House, spokesman Ari Fleischer said: ''There are many things many Democrats are going to say in order to stand out in the Democratic primary. The president looks forward to welcoming whoever wants to run.''

Former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean, Missouri Rep. Dick Gephardt, Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry and North Carolina Sen. John Edwards are already seeking the Democratic nomination. Several others are said to be considering bids.

Lieberman could face a challenge in states with early contests where some of his rivals have been working for months. The Iowa caucuses on Jan. 19 are the first presidential contest of 2004.

Unlike Dean, Kerry and Gephardt, Lieberman will not be in Linn County, Iowa, this weekend to speak to Democrats. But he told Iowa reporters he will compete hard in Iowa, beginning later this month, and throughout the early tests.

He also said no Democrat has emerged as a front-runner.

''It's more than a year before the Iowa caucuses and there is an awful lot of time to reach out and meet people in Iowa and around the country,'' he said.

Lieberman was considered a prospect for 2004 as soon as the 2000 race was over, and he traveled from New Hampshire to California testing support. Gore took himself out of the 2004 race weeks ago, freeing Lieberman from his self-imposed pledge not to run if the former vice president did.

''I intend to talk straight to the American people and to show them that I am a different kind of Democrat,'' Lieberman said. ''I will not hesitate to tell my friends when I think they are wrong and to tell my opponents when I think they are right.''

The 60-year-old moderate was among the first members of Congress to call for a U.S.-led campaign to oust Saddam Hussein. He was also an early proponent of suspending elements of Bush's tax cut, and convened hearings on homeland defense and Enron's collapse into bankruptcy.

Lieberman was not widely known before Gore picked him to be his running mate, though he drew national attention in 1998 when he criticized President Clinton's affair with Monica Lewinsky from the Senate floor.

He described Clinton's behavior as ''disgraceful'' and ''embarrassing'' to the country, though he voted to acquit Clinton of impeachment charges. He has also long campaigned against sex and violence in the media.

As Gore's running mate, Lieberman was accused by Republicans of softening or abandoning his positions on issues such as school vouchers and affirmative action. Lieberman denied changing his positions.

An Orthodox Jew, Lieberman refused to campaign on Saturdays, the Jewish Sabbath, during the 2000 race.

Asked by reporters Monday how he felt the American people would react to his faith, Lieberman said: ''I am not running on my faith, but my faith is at the center of who I am, and I'm not going to conceal that.''

A Yale Law School graduate, Lieberman was a state senator and Connecticut attorney general before winning election to the U.S. Senate in 1988.

Well. with all the signs of a major collapse in front of us, it's hard to say no to Joe. What do I mean? California is ready to topple, and not from earthquakes. The rest of the states are now starting to feel the warmrth of Mexico and the good cheer brought by third-worlders. More and more whites are losing jobs throughout the spectrum of the job market - coming soon to an office near you. ZOG is overreaching, as its helmsmen have done all through history. The economy, well, we don't need to go into that anymore ...

Worse is better, to use an old Marxist line. It's the only way the mouth breathers and glazed eyed sheeple are going to wake up. If Joe can somehow become the first jew to fill the post that's been held for decades by men who ACTED as jews/lockstep with jewish marching orders, then maybe that will be one of the final pushes needed to get the ZOG boulder rolling downhill completely out of (yahoodi) control. The arrogance knows no bounds, and this whole thing is going to collapse sooner or later under its own arrogance.

If Joe L. gets the democratic nod as candidate, wait 'til you see the press coverage of "what have you done for us lately?" Jorge Boosh. It will be a priceless example of the jewspeak media propaganda machine ramping up into overdrive.

All kidding aside, the whole situation is worrisome - yet, we do need things to begin to crumble in order to have a chance at the hard, brutal struggle it is going to be to correct things. Some OD members think all is over, that America is through, etc. I feel that things can be taken back, but it isn't going to be a trip down the yellow brick road. Turning things around is nowhere near an impossibility, and I take the fact that a piece of dung like Lieberman can declare his candidacy for the Presidency to be much more a sign of eventual collapse than the comedy and tomfoolery of Al gimmee more pomade Sharpton doing the same. I believe it was Sertorius who stated that** America has been temporarily hijacked. ** I side with him.

BTW, ilragno, the TV and cable TV listings at ... VNN of all places, are actually amusing. Especially the HBO "fact based" movie about "historically Somali American Lewiston". I guess things had to get better over there, slow as it is.

Maybe they'll eventually have listings for Meet The Press with Pres. Lieberman.

:P He might be the first president to thank God he's not one of his subjects, though he shouldn't be!!!

I think he'll be too bland to make it - he remind me of Dukakis, Bentsen.

NaBaron, you are probably right, as that's my gut feeling, THIS TIME AROUND. However, stranger things have happened. We are truly living the Chinese curse of "May you live in interesting times,".

Now that would be something to behold...the Zionist media taking Dubya to task for not stemming the flow of illegals, while suggesting a Jewish Democrat will get tough on immigration. Maybe even accuse him of pandering to the Hispanic vote.

If radical Hispanic nationalism and its animosity to Jews keep gaining ground, we just might see something like this.

Realistically, I don't expect such a turn of events, but these are "interesting times," to quote the Chinese proverb.

Jews are being forced to a crossroads in 2004: do they support the historic "diversity" and multicultural left they historically have with 80% of their bloc while blacks and Hispanics become increasingly opposed to them and Muslims pour into the country, or do they take a chance and cast their fortunes with the Religious Right in the GOP, abandoning multiculturalism and risking accusation of pulling the GOP leftward in exchange for rabid fundy and evangelical support for Israel and a last-ditch effort to thwart immigration?

My honest gut feeling is no matter who is in office things are going to continue to decline, except the next turn around you'll start seeing capital flight and emigration as things get dicey. Jews and their money will start moving to Israel, while secular elites bail for Europe or Australia. The euro displaces the dollar as the world's reserve currency.

The jew Lie-berman will not win and it is not because of the jews who could put him in power, but he is simply such a stupid whining asshole that even intelligent jews would not want him ballyhooing in the oval office.

The jews want a Gentile to do their bidding an as the jews always say, never a King, but a King maker is the place to be,

With our Bushwhacker firmly in the grips of the jews and with him taking out all the potential jewish enemies like Iraq and Iran, they are going to keep that bought and paid for whore in office for a full eight years.

Just look at the stupid ass fag Blair in UK where whenever he speaks there is that jew Jack Straw right behind him and making certain he follows the jewish agenda of beating the war drums. With both Bush and Blair on the Jews war path and not giving a sh*t what the UN or anyone else say's, it is going to be interesting to see the final outcome.

I think Americans may just wake the f*ck up after this war and see that it don't matter who the hell is President, the jew boys call the shots and until that is changed, we are no better then any godamn banana republic.

I'd vote for him. Mexican immigration is IMHO the single most immediate threat to the country. Tossing all the illegals out and sealing the border would be worth 4 years of (overt) jewish rule, and would give us time to regroup.

... Assuming he doesn't jew us on that campaign promise. :P

Lieberman cannot win as long as the elections are still honest ( technically ). Most whites, blacks, and hispanics have no love for the Jew and would not elect a Jew President. I see no reason to discuss this possibility further because of its factual impossibility, although Roy Batty's comments on the subject are truly insightful and appropriate.

" I have a proposal also. Let's draft an army of 5 million to peaceably march on Washington, take our scrapes, and put an end to this tyrannical, hypocratic, un-Constitutional Government. It can be done. " - Exelsis_Deo 2003

America has been so goddamned dumbed down that you are never going to get Joe Six pack and Soccer Mom off their fat asses and march on DC for any cause.

Like sheep we have become so intimidated with a tyrannical govt which has all the intentions of penning us in and fleecing us whenever they wish. Welcome to that "Kinder an Gentler" nation old man Bush promised us.

My solution is to get out of this f*cking fish bowl while I can still swim.

On that note:

Let's hear what a Jewish author has to say about the matter of traditional, Orthodox Jewish attitudes about gentiles [non-Jews]:

"There is also a series of rules forbidding any expression of praise for Gentiles or for their deeds, except where such praise implies an even greater praise of Jews and things Jewish. This rule is still observed by Orthodox Jews."

"Thus an Orthodox Jew learns from his earliest youth, as part of his sacred studies, that Gentiles are compared to dogs, that it is a sin to praise them, and so on and so forth."

"Gentiles are presumed to be congenital liars, and are disqualified from testifying in a rabbinical court. In this respect their position is, in theory, the same as that of Jewish women, slaves and minors; but in practice it is actually worse. A Jewish woman is nowadays admitted as a witness to certain matters of fact, when the rabbinical court 'believes' her; a Gentile - never."

"The Talmud bluntly forbids giving a gift to a Gentile. However, classical rabbinical authorities bent this rule because it is customary among businessmen to give gifts to business contacts. It was therefore laid down that a Jew may give a gift to a Gentile acquaintance, since this is regarded not as a true gift but as a sort of investment, for which some return is expected."

"If a Jew finds property whose probable owner is Jewish, the finder is strictly enjoined to make a positive effort to return his find by advertising it publicly. In contrast, the Talmud and all the early rabbinical authorities not only allow a Jewish finder to appropriate an article lost by a Gentile, but actually forbid him or her to return it."

"Let us begin with the text of some common prayers. In one of the first sections of the daily morning payer, every devout Jew blesses God for not making him a Gentile."

"A religious Jew must not drink any wine in whose preparation a Gentile had any part whatsoever. Wine in an open bottle, even if prepared wholly by Jews, becomes banned if a Gentile so much as touches the bottle or passes a hand over it. The reason given by the rabbis is that all Gentiles are not only idolators but must be presumed to be malicious to boot, so that they are likely to dedicate (by a whisper, gesture or thought) as 'libation' to their idol any wine which a Jew is about to drink."

-- all of the above quotes come from the book "Jewish History, Jewish Religion," by Jewish/Israeli author Dr. Israel Shahak, 1994, Pluto Press. See it online here: http://abbc.com/islam/english/books/jewhis/jewhis1.htm

il ragno> Just think: Lieberman or Dubya in '04? That's like a 'choice' between Mr Burns or Smithers. Whichever way Florida's 6 million Holocaust survivors lean, Jews will stay firmly in control. If he loses, whore Bush will know what Al d'Amato felt when - after personally strongarming the guards & tellers (and driving the getaway car besides) in The Swiss Gold Caper - they lined up, eager to stick knives in him, and sent Schumer to the Senate in his place.

I had thought I just might be the last man in America to remember the stunning reward Al D'Amato received for Jewish fealty. This should be posted in the halls of congress and all newrooms. "Pothole" got what he should have known was coming.
