I think next week's sermon at Any Church USA is "Is Love a verb or a noun?" Last week it was "The importance of tithing" The week before, "Identifying your resources." Before that it was "Compassion in a changing world." I think I missed the Sunday when the Sermon was "Is Jesus King of the Jews or King of Israel?" Or, maybe that topic didn't pass the Insipid Test. At a so-called Fundamentalist Church they might give a waiver to the Insipid Test to a thrilling sermon on why "Christians must support the state of Israel" and "Drinking is evil and Jesus never touched a drop." The old denomination churches might give waivers to "The joy of homosexual unions" and "All paths lead to God (except Christian conservatism)." The black churches might give waivers to "Whites, those blue-eyed devils" and "Vote for a Democrat or you'll be picking cotten."
